IMHO, the bulls will have jimmy, wade and rondo all back next year. We'll add some pieces, but dont expect anything major until mid next season (trade deadline) or summer 18 free agency

I almost hope that they take Harry Giles in the draft. He's got the knee injuries but at this point the odds of him coming back to where he was and becoming a big time player are greater than the odds that GarPax can sign or trade for one otherwise.

They have no plan and haven't had one for years as for making the team successful. Firing Ron Adams out of the blue and drafting Nurkic and Harris to trade for McDermott seemed to be a plan to annoy the fuck out of Thibs.
Team structure wise there is no plan. The team doesn't have athletes, the team doesn't have shooters only a bunch of ball pounders who shoot mid range shots well and aren't great defensive players. Hell they decided to bring back Rondo based on 2 playoff games. He played so well in the regular season that they traded 2 rotation players and a pick for Cameron Payne.
The only plan is make the playoffs to satisfy Reinsdorf and keep their jobs.

Reinsdorf is not in a rush to fire them because of that. I thought things would change once Jerrys Son got more power, but nope!

The Bulls owners are looking for puppets. Tom Tibby wanted to win too much. He also wanted more power to build a winner. Those are two reasons why he's gone and also why Jerry shitted on him after they fired him.

Soxs > Bulls in Jerrys mind. Always has been. Jerry still tryna get the Soxs on a "Cubs" popularity level.

MJ/Bulls is the reason he's still sitting on billions, but he doesnt care as much about the Bulls as he does the Soxs.

The WhiteSoxs are rebuilding as well. Wouldnt be surprised if the Bulls progress is being sacrificed so the WhiteSoxs can be contenders.

One is coming off ACL injury (been there before), Dunn is a unknown and the rookie is also a unknown.

The Bulls dont know how to develop shit! From MJ to D Rose, everybody that had talent in Bulls history came here with talent.

We basically just gave Jimmy away for nothing.

We traded up for Doug a few years ago for a bunch of draft picks, traded him away in less than 5 years.

When I look back to what we had with D Rose (prior to the injury), Noah in his prime, Tom Tibby, the bench depth etc, and compare to whats been going on over the last few years, the shit is mind boggling. I know the D Rose thing derailed things, but Man!! Did it derail you that much?
