That's the problem the media make it seem like he was the contributor to that Superbowl win when it was the defense and the special teams....You dont hear the media say it was Desmond Howard,who was the Superbowl MVP who won the game its Brett Favre..

When people say what side of the ball won the Ravens,the media say its the defense and they will be right but when you hear the media say who won that Superbowl when the Packers played New England all you hear is Brett Favre...You rarely hear anyone mentions the defense and the special team that won them that game....

The media didn't focus on it but I remember Brett refusing to mentor Aaron Rodgers when he was at Green Bay.He basically said that he would have to learn the job on his own.While I can understand why a player wouldn't want to help a backup who will later try and compete for their position,the media LOVES to criticize players who aren't being "team players".As with all of the bad things Brett has done (lead league in INTs,made horrible decisions on field,had a drug problem, and sexually harassed a chick), it pretty much ignored.Sure Rodgers plays on a really good team,but every team that wins the SB was really good.Farve is salty and just wants to minimize Rodgers success by lauding how good the team was(even though HIS Superbowl teams were just as good),Rodgers watching HIM(even though he never mentored him),or that it took him so long(even though he retired and came back to take the starting position which pushed Rodgers back a year).

I dont understand how the media let Favre get a pass with that bullshit with Javon Walker

dude wasn't even MVP when they won the Super Bowl Reggie White & Desmond Howard had more impact in that game than he did...
