Shit, that’s a great come up if anything. He’s been famous a decade after his career ended. He managed to stay relevant and scandal-free, which makes him STILL eligible to make paper. He’ll get a booth gig or a sideline gig soon. How can you be mad at that? Whack but still get richer? That’s awesome if you can get it. We’d all take it.

He embarrassed them, so they had to cut him

The owner probably said something to Myer
Doubtful. The Jags owner (and his son, who also runs AEW) are about as hands-off as owners can be in the NFL.
Hopefully, Urban Myer finally woke the fuck up after the last game and realized what an embarrassment this whole thing was.
He can at least tell Tebow he gave him another shot in the NFL when no one else would.

That was quick and I’m glad this happened urban Meyer needs to realize this is the NFL this is not college….Don’t be surprise Meyer runs back to college Like old Saint Nick did.
would'nt be the first time a UF coach did that. remember steve spurrier coming to washington and bringing all them sorry ass Florida players (mainly QB's Wuerffel and shane matthews)

Only a few coaches jump from college to NFL successfully ie Jimmy Johnson

If Urban was smart he would have nothing to do with anyone he coached in college that's anything short of can't-miss.
Spurrier made the same mistake bringing in a bunch of his old players that couldn't play in the NFL.

I was speaking for his size that RB could have best suited his skillset but maybe he wasn't cut out for that either. His best bet is to do like Tony Romo and get in the broadcast game.

Let's call it like it truly was... Tebow was a fullback who took snaps from Center and threw a couple of 1 or 2 read passes a game. That's it. However, he believed his own hype (and the hype of the Skip Bayless' of the world) that he was an actual Quarterback. The Jets, Patriots and Eagles asked him about switching positions to H-Back (basically doing the same thing he was doing in Denver) but he said no, because he felt he was a starting caliber QB.

He has a job working for ESPN I believe doing Saturday morning college football. He should stick to that. It's where people know him and he has a name. All this "living my dream" crap needs to stop.
