6th street or as we say, Dirty 6th street is the main strip known for people walking around and getting drunk. It’s Austin’s Version of Beale Street or the French Quarter. There are other streets perpendicular or near that are similar.
6th- Bars, clubs, live music, closed off in sections (first area people go for debauchery)
5th- Known more for LGBTQ Bars, live music
Rainey St- Bars, clubs, etc.
Other side of highway, East Austin is more chill.
