I don't own any weapons but can certainly understand those that own weapons. Especially for "protection" purposes. Although, admittedly, i think you invite more trouble by gun ownership than not.

None that I'm aware of ,some have been caught with weapons,some have assaulted teachers,staff,police and each other but no Mass shootings or no shootings that I'm aware of again.But what's funny is in most urban schools,we have security,metal detectors,drug sniffing dogs and even police officer's but no mass shooters or shootings have happened but the ironic thing is that they don't have such things outside of security and occasionally a wand to check for items such as pocket knives but when such things as a Mass shooting happens at a school it happens in a school and area that is populated by majority of white's be it middle class,upper middle class or low class.......something's wrong with that picture and it always and has been coming back to bite many in the ass in the pass decade or so.

The departure of George David Banks, who advised the White House on energy and environment as a member of the National Economic Council, comes amid growing criticism of a slew of senior officials working in the Trump administration without permanent security clearance.
Banks told Politico that the White House Counsel’s office said Tuesday that he would not receive permanent clearance because he had admitted to smoking pot in 2013. The White House subsequently accepted his offer of resignation, he said.
