Russian oil executive Ravil Maganov dead after reportedly falling from hospital window
The chairman of a Russian oil giant which called for the end to the war in Ukraine has died after falling from a hospital window in Moscow, according to reports. Lukoil chair Ravil Maganov, 67, was being treated at the city's Central Clinical Hospital, according to Russian media.
In a statement, the company confirmed Mr Maganov's death but it said was the result of a "severe illness". His is the latest in a string of mysterious deaths of high-level Russian executives.
In May Alexander Subbotin, a former senior manager at the same oil company, Lukoil, reportedly died in unusual circumstances, according to the BBC.
