He'd be stupid to resign at this point. Being president is the only protection he has to avoid jail time. There is debate as to whether or not a sitting president can be indicted, without the protection being in office provides, he will definitely go to jail.
He can be indicted on treason/collusion. The money shit would have to wait or be piled onto collusion.
