Skylar has always been a liability and should've been dispatched a long time ago, but overall, Walt is going to get all of them murdered or put in the bin...

Once Mike leaves, that goes your security and street cred, no one gives a shit about Jesse and his confused self, the redhead has more will than Jesse... and a better work ethic.

Yeah man - it's a fun series. The American series picked up again this past Friday (CINEMAX, etc). They did a double-episode. Make sure to go back and check out the prior seasonal stuff for the UK version, and the US one too. If you liked 24 ... you'll like this. Hardly ever boring ... titties ... plenty of shoot-me-ups and explosions. Shit's a guys' shows top-to-bottom

its not rationalization its understanding his point of view. it doesn't mean i agree with it but you're acting like all of this has come out of the clear blue sky.

like walt has power issues, which he's always had... he's never liked not being in total control in any aspect... so when he is finally in total control why would you think he'd want to give that up?

when gus pushed his back against the wall that was the only real threat left other than the police once gus was gone and he was the boss now what on earth would make anyone believe that NOW after all of this stuff he's been through as the employee why would he get out immediately as the employer?

if gus was alive, this deal comes along AND gus wasn't trying to kill him, he'd be out in a heartbeat so he could feel like he flexed some sort of control.

when his wife found out about the drugs he let her have some control over him which he hated but he did to keep peace with his family.

NOW she not only doesn't love him but wishes him to die. what family would he come back to if he stopped? she just don't want him and he knows it.

It showed he didn't really give a fuck about the kid and was just patronizing Jesse...

Walt doesn't give a fuck now...he knows he's a dead man walking w/ the cancer and his wife is no support so I can understand his attitude but I'd still think he'd consider his kids but he's done

In an odd way the dinner scene kinda loosely reminded me of Scarface...w/ Jesse being Manolo tryna play peacemaker between Tony and his wife
