Breaking Bad *series finale 9/29/2013

Re: Breaking Bad *series finale 8/11/13

"The devil says the end is the beginning" I think that scene in the beginning of the season with walter eating that breakfast on his 52 bday is the ending.

Re: Breaking Bad *series finale 8/11/13

Theres just no way that Huel would be under the employ of a guy like Saul and not have it embedded in his head how to and how not to respond and communicate with law enforcement officers. Incredibly lazy writing there. Obviously his character is for comedic effect, stereotyping and blatant irony but even in accepting that it was pretty hard to swallow tonights storyline involving his cooperation.

Other than that I mostly enjoyed tonights episode.

This. I'm disappointed in how they played that...lazy lazy lazy.

Re: Breaking Bad *series finale 8/11/13

How in the hell you have damn machine guns and there's like 5 dudes vs. 2 and nobody get hit?

1 of the weapons was an AUTOMATIC shotgun (aa12) too.

1 on 1 people can miss from ridiculously close range. short barrel weapons firing fully automatic can be ridiculously inaccurate.

but this shit was outlandish, even for TV.

hank and gomez characters both have to qualify on the range to get paid. but they were firing downrange through the sights and no hits?

:hithead:

i fully expected once hank zoned in for one of them to be hit in the neck or something. nobody was really covered

but they just emptying shit

and then all them bullets going into the side of the suv
right where walter is ducking his head lol

some of them had adequate cover, and no decent sight line. i can live with that.

but if i was hank, i'm taking out todd because he was the easiest.

if i'm gomez, jack goes down with my first 2 rounds.

SOMEONE gets hit lol

its like they were shooting rubber bullets

Re: Breaking Bad *series finale 8/11/13

the minor problem i had was why not retrieve walt and retreat to the second vehicle using the SUV and walt as cover?

Re: Breaking Bad *series finale 8/11/13

Huell works for a lawyer, but they didn't come at him as if they were trying to arrest him or Saul, but to PROTECT him from Walt.

The prisoners getting killed has been used plenty times since its happened as the event that cements Hesienberg as someone who should be feared.

Hank just got lucky that he convinced Huell that he was in danger. He isn't too bright.

And I had no idea so many people were in shoot outs. I would think firing at a range would be different from having a standoff with multiple people who all have the high ground and cover...

What is more unbelievable is that Hank and Gomez didn't get shot up, not the other way around. But that's not something I'd dwell on.

Looking at these it was possible they could have missed

It looked much closer watching it on TV , still you don't think so ?

Re: Breaking Bad *series finale 8/11/13

Sal could trump the tape. It was illegal wire tapping and would not stand up in court because they did not have a warrant.

not sure about that because Jesse was part of the call...in a wiretap situation neither party is aware the call is being listened to.

in some states only one party has to be aware the call is being recorded, and that would be Jesse

Huell had to be thinking, "how the fuck Saul gonna protect me when Jesse's brains are on someone's kitchen floor and these muhfuckas taking about SAUL'S ass is next."....shiiiiiiit, fuck Saul

Good catch.

Pistol fire could have missed.

Might be too much distance for a shot gun.

But the Nazi's with the rifle's have no excuse.....I would have had at least one of those muhfuckas gut shot. I might have missed the first shot, but not the second one...

Re: Breaking Bad *series finale 8/11/13

It looked like Gomez might've gotten hit when I watched.

Gomez was hit. I saw a red stain on his shirt when he crouched down. I think both Gomez and Hank will be gone before the first 15 minutes of the show next week

walt bought the big gun to kill the skinheads/nazis.

for the reason you mentioned, i dont think it will go too well for him.

???? So what was the machine gun for? Walt is now a kingpin on the run or something? Gilligan said he would definitely end the series somehow, so I don't see that as a possibility unless that is the beginning of the very last episode

Yep..Walt was watching Scarface with his son for a reason...remember in at the Scarface death scene, he says, "I Love this part"? Walt is going to experience what the real Scarface (Brad Jordan) said in Hands of the Dead Body "Gangstas don't live that long"

Re: Breaking Bad *series finale 8/11/13

SOmebody embed the Harlem Nights scene when Arsenio hall tells the little gangsta shooting at Eddie Murphy to put that little shit away because he got that starter pistol

But let's not forget, Todd is a beast with that aim though unfortunately:(

Re: Breaking Bad *series finale 8/11/13

firing at a range is different from a live firefight.

that's why you undergo tactical training in glynco and in scenarios like hogan's alley.

"high ground and cover"?

:smh:

first part is wrong.

second part is correct. and new mexico is a one party consent state.

Look at the second pic. The guys on the left are on higher ground, and they have better cover than hank and Gomez. They are positioned a bit higher. Even a few degrees will make a difference. Hank and Gomez are in the open, and the attackers set up with more cover than they had.

As for their training, you mean to tell me every dea agent is going to be a sniper with their weapons? Training separates from real life once you start taking fire. There are navy seals who straight bitch up when the shit is real.

I don't get why it's so far fetched. Obviously it's a TV show so they can write it how they please, but none of the events are outside the realm of possibility.

Re: Breaking Bad *series finale 8/11/13

who said anything about a sniper? especially considering neither gomez nor hank had sniper weapons.

given their (hank and gomez') inferior firepower and ammunition, veteran agents would fall back on their training. no verbal direction or hand signals? no comm (mobile phone) for backup? gomez surrenders his cover? jack is a WIDE OPEN target for gomez, but only people with tactical shotgun training would know how and why.

Training separates from real life once you start taking fire. There are navy seals who straight bitch up when the shit is real.

very true. but clearly not what was portrayed in this firefight. hank clearly did not "bitch up". neither hank nor gomez fired blindly in fear, and hank fired in controlled bursts, aiming at a target.

Either way the russian dudes were using heavy assault rifle .. clearly armor piercing .. hiding behind those cars shouldnt have saved anyones life including walt .. next episode nggas better b dead lol or else after the last episode im not watching it anymore lol
