You guy's are missing the point...it was a fucking Accident (Some shit that you didn't mean to happen) You gotta understand that sometimes fucked up shit happens...I'm not saying that brandy shouln't pay a fine or be on probabtion or even go to the funeral of the Dead victim or even have to be forced to see pictures of the dead woman everytime that day comes around....but you can do all that shit and it still doesnt escape the fact that she didn't mean to do it and is probably in more pain than anyone one of us can imagine. The only way she would deserve jail time is if she chased the car down and got out and shot the woman or purposely made the woman crash as a result of road rage. Brandy definitely caused the accident but remember it was another car not paying attention as well who slammed into the woman and truly caused the death. It is all very horrible and believe me you...the family of the Victim is definitely trying to get paid and only until the family found out that she had doe is when they filled this wrongful death complaint...why didn't they do it soon after?????
anyway it's a bad situation and i was saying put yourself in her shoes meaning you accidentially caused something horrible (I know you would feel bad) and to the parents/children of the victim (I know they feel sad as well) it's a no win situation.
JANUARY 30--The family of the California woman killed last month in a freeway accident triggered by the singer Brandy has filed a $50 million wrongful death lawsuit against the 28-year-old entertainer. California Highway Patrol officials have recommended the filing of misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter charges against the R&B singer (full name: Brandy Norwood) in connection with the December 30 crash on the 405 Freeway. According to police, Norwood's 2007 Land Rover was going around 65 mph when the vehicle rear-ended a 2005 Toyota being driven by Awatef Aboudihaj. The impact caused the Toyota to slam into the rear of another vehicle and then careen toward the center divider, where it was struck by 1988 Acura. Aboudihaj, 38, died later that day of injuries sustained during the wreck. In the wrongful death complaint, filed today by Aboudihaj's parents, Aboudihaj Ahmed and Labridi Zohra, in Los Angeles Superior Court, Norwood is charged with reckless driving resulting in the woman's death. In a previous statement, Norwood expressed condolences to Aboudihaj's family and asked the media to "respect the privacy of everyone involved at this time." (3 pages)
