To me, braids = hassle free. I wear them occasionally when the weather gets hot or when I'm traveling somewhere for a length of time. Also, my hair is naturally curly but when humidity hits it, it's a frizz ball and just unmanageable. I also wear them when I'm growing out my hair like if I get bangs or something. I honestly don't get the big deal about weaves or braids and why they're disliked so much. It's just another hairstyle. Some people aren't born with super long, thick, flowing hair and if that's what that person deems nice, I don't see a problem with them achieving that look with extensions.

Braids are mos def an exception to my no weave rule, but even exceptions must have rules. NO BRAIDS THAT ARE BLONDE, BLUE, PINK, BURGUNDY etc...
