Over compensating is a mofo. After my knee surgery I tore my ham. That shit felt like I was shot in the back of the leg.
Popped achilles end of oct and was running full speed by the next summer with no surgery. Popped the hamstring like 2 months after feeling 100 percent with the achilles. Fortunately tendon wasn't fucked and had that healed in no time at all. The bleeding was the ugliest part of that injury. I studied a lot about tendon/lig health and overcompensation after that because I dodged a bullet with the hammy not popping a tendon. Muscles heal incredibly quick as long as you don't pop the tendon with it.Very good points. Especially about other surrounding tendons, ligaments, muscles, etc. How long did it take for you to rehab the ham' & achilles injuries respectively? How many years back?

For non surgical quad tears it takes about two weeks to heal. Then weight training begins. Warriors say they will revaluate him in two weeks to see how he responds to treatment. The fuck you hear that?
Actually he could be back in three weeks
Damn. Those lower-body tendon injuries. He too damn heavy in a jumping sport. Seems like it will be a vicious circle of him injuring his leg and tendons not keeping up with the muscle.
Both of y’all hit the nail on the head. To us it looks like he’s moving normally after the Achilles tear but he isn’t. He also plays about 280 which is way too big especially after tearing your Achilles. He’s gotta trim down to about 250-260 to give his lower body some relief if he wants to keep playing. If he doesn’t the lower back is next to go for him.once you tear a tendon, you got to strengthen the muscles around that tendon as well as the tendon you tore. The quad tear is just the result of his body overcompensating and failing

For non surgical that is all it takes. Of course he would not be running around but he would be out of a brace and doing muscle strengthening
