Damn so it was really like that?Jay grew the fuck up and evolved when everyone around him was stagnant and doing the same ole shit. He simply had a clearer, stronger vision of where he wanted to be in 5 years, 10 years, 15 years down the road. Them other niggas was just living as apparent by the shit they going through now.

..another case of an interviewer not letting the person he is interviewing, get his points out. dude interviewing needs to realize that the person he is talking to , is the one the people want to hear..not the interviewer. B-dash is a good dude with alot of light to shed on the situation though. This mofo sound just like Dame.... Dam U can tell hes a dash.
But its right, when u want diddy money... Shit cant be cut so many ways....
i actually use to luv and hear Dame in interviews because the brotha knew his shyt, he was a smart brotha, who had a lot of business about himself. I never heard 1 artist say Dame screwed them. I remember when Sigel was locked up, his mom in The Source or XXL said Dame was the only coming by and giving her and kids money. Through cam and jim's beef both have always given props to Dame. Back in the early days of rocafella listening to jay and dame speak, it was clear that dame was a lot of the brains behind rocafella. I was a big fan of rocafella so I use follow all their shyt. Dame was smart and Jay Z became a much smarter business man because of Dame. I will admit I didn't like a couple of business moves Dame did....knowing Jay didn't like cam'ron but he made cam'ron vice president----even though in this interview with Bobby Dash it seems as if that was a title given to cam'ron rather than some big financial raise. I wasn't a big fan of the odb signing. I think Jay wanted to go solo and probably used some of Dame's decisions to break up. I can hear Jay saying, he if u want to sign cam'ron and all these other artist, do it, do it with your own money and label. I think at some point Dame was super cocky and felt he could do whatever he wanted since he owned part of rocafella. Dame probably thought there's no way Jay would leave. They say Lyor Cohen was big snake in all of this...................
I never really gained alot of respect for those state prop. ngz after all this, they turned their backs on Dame.

That wasn't even an interview. That was more like a recorded conversation...another case of an interviewer not letting the person he is interviewing, get his points out. dude interviewing needs to realize that the person he is talking to , is the one the people want to hear..not the interviewer. I mean dude cool but c'mon man he think anybody wanna put up w/ that BS when it affects money. Nigga spent more time talking about prison/shootouts than making music.Even with Dame Dash attitude and wildness,I think things could of been settled in a much better way where they could have fazed Jay out of his position and everyone of their artist who were on the lable,if they chose to could of stayed and still been eating. As opposite to Jay just ducking and dodging dude's while teaming up with the same people that they were up against.
Jay have a great team of people around him now,but someone should of advised that he not put out another album but rather make music and put it out there and let it do whatever its going to do,relgardless of sales, marketing and contracts.
They could of been eating just as well, they just branch off and form their own outside things while keeping the nucleus the center peice and being more business-like.

Alliyah was no angel niggas was definitely pounding her ass out.
