Board format messed up/ Dark mode not working / missing preview post button since update.

Since folks aren't actually reading the update thread before posting their issues, these are the repeat issues that keep coming up:

Dark mode is temporarily down. It will probably get fixed tomorrow some time. Change to xenforo default to get the site to format properly. If your browser has an option to force dark pages (not dark mode/dark theme but actually make white wepages black) you can use that as a work around. Edit: Dark Mode working as of Wed May 24, 2023. Enjoy!


The preview post button has been changed to the icon on the right side of the comment box that looks like a piece of paper with a magnifying glass. Some may also see the word preview with the icon.

There are 3 sets of hidden menu items under the : dots. Smilies/emojis are under the second one. Edit: not everyone seems to have the same layout. You may only have 1 set of hidden menus.

The rating system has not been implemented yet. HNIC has to do those plug-ins separately. Edit: ratings are a go.

Edit: some people have reported not having the page down arrow. This is being looked into. Mine is built into the opera browser for all sites and is still working.

I'm just glad to know the option is available. For my browser the theme is called Swarth. I went back to regular mode though. Been looking at bgol like that for way longer than there was a dark theme. I'll wait until ours gets fixed or replaced.

Work arounds (e.g., extensions, enabling dark mode for chrome) are aiight, but I'm glad BGOL Dark is now back up and running. BGOL Dark functions and looks much better than the temporary work arounds

BGOL Dark works flawlessly on my Android phone too
