It is a fundamental nescecity for a Black Woman to submit to Black Male leadership within the home. I've heard Black Women speaking on how much money they make & there high educational level. Using these reasons as excuses not to submit to there man. This type of thinking is foolish, because no "TRUE MAN" in the sense of the word will accept his woman leading or dominating
the family unit. Black Women often want to know the key is to keeping a Black Man. This is it.....

Most of the women on SOL are fairly articulate and open minded. And when it comes down to it, many of us would probably admit that if and when we find the man we'd like to spend the rest of our lives with, we'd probably allow ourselves to let go of our "in charge" mentality in some way or the other.

Lol, to be perfectly honest with you Ace, I doubt you're going to have any luck enlightening anyone in this thread. Especially the very blunt way you came off. Besides, you can't enlighten women who are willing to do for their man once they find the right one.

I'm not gonna check out your show. But no "TRUE MAN" would feel the need to tell his wife to submit. By his actions, she will want to submit and obey. And yes I meant to use the words "submit" and "obey"

Anyways ... partners shouldn't have to argue over whose the boss or who isn't ... 2 strong, intelligent, capable people should be able to carry on a relationship equally without thinking twice about it ... I feel wether it is a man or a woman who wants their partner to be "submissive" that probably stems from them not having control in other aspects of their lives so they are taking their insecurites out on their mate

I think what was said before in the post by whoalilmamma was true. Many women would have no problem "submitting" (really just an offering of incredible trust and respect to a mate's authority) if one finds a "worthy" mate. I'm on some freak shit with the D/S but I have no problems embracing that as a lifestyle choice either....but certainly not with every or any man.

Please give an example of a successfull relationship between to black people where the man has submitted to the woman. Name any well known couple where that is the case.

Geez.

I am so tired of all this white/latina/thai/native american/easter island indeginous women don't act like this bullshit. There will ALWAYS be someone in every race that acts in that way! The reason you don't see this is because you are conciously or subconciously looking for women who are opposite from those you are used to dealing with. Hence, since you associate this independent spirit with Black women, you're going to not bother even getting to know women of other races or backgrounds that even exhibit that trait in the least.
