I missed it too. I I'm working on a science fiction novel, I need to be more proactive with it. But, it is a story of a boy escaping to the jungle as a kid and coming back as a man to attack the Marauders who destroyed his village.

I've got the premise and everything all set, I just have to get off my ass and write it down. Writing a novel is more difficult than a short story because you have to give even more description than you believe is necessary and that stuff. That's the part I struggle with the most.

I have a creative mind and can imagine wonderful stories, but there is not enough detail

@godofwine i was thinkInc about how detailed a novel must be earlier today. An old buddy of mine was working on a sci-fi fantasy novel and I loved his story but shit, thats not my wheeel house.

Thank you. Best believe I'm going to post the link on Amazon here (bye bye anonymity).

But I am working on another novel that has captured my attention the past few years. It has a black female protagonist, with a Magic White guy ( playing teacher/trainer to the Black female lead the way the magic negro plays second fiddle to the white person in most movies)

This Book will tackle overcoming sexual assault. It will also be a History lesson with a glossary at the end. Each character will be named for a person and black history, their first and last names. Zora Jemison, named for Zora Neale Hurston and astronaut Mae Jemison. Every character in the novel will be named as such - black painters, authors, athletes, historical figures. It's going to be sweet
