Apparently they giving Black Panther some shine on the new Avengers cartoon series.

Yeah all the upcoming movies: Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Ant-Man and Wasp are being reintroduced as the "All New, All Different" Avengers while the Avengers are missing.
Good marketing for the kids to get them familiar before the movies drop.
But Since they rebooting the Spiderman cartoon. I hope they redo Cage and Ironfist too.
I want to see the Netflix/Defenders and shield on the cartoons too.
The entire concept of Wakanda is driving the haters crazy.
It is more than the superhero T'Challa himself. It is what a fictional place like Wakanda represents is what is driving them mad. They can't stand that a technological civilization run by black people does not have imperialistic ambitions. The fictional Wakanda promotes a dangerous possibility of the potential of blacks and Africans world wide. Make no mistake about it, they could care less about a black hero, it is where he is from that bothers them.

Actress Nabiyah Be, as seen standing next to Michael B. Jordan's Killmonger in the first Black Panther trailer..... is actually supposed to be Tilda Johnson, aka "Nightshade" (or "Deadly Nightshade").
Nightshade is a native of New York City (Harlem), where Killmonger spends his days after his family is exiled from Wakanda. It’s unknown 'how much' of Johnson’s backstory will make it into the film, however, as Marvel is known for tweaking lesser known characters for the MCU.
POWERS & ABILITIES
Trained Combatant: Nightshade is an above-average athlete, and is extensively trained in martial arts and acrobatics.
Super-Genius Intelligence: Tilda Johnson is considered to be one of the smartest people on the planet (like Shuri). She is a brilliant scientist who is extensively self-taught in various disciplines including: genetics, biochemistry, cybernetics, robotics and physics.
She obtained a doctoral degree from an undisclosed university while in prison.
She has also constructed a number of formidable weapons & devices and has built scores of humanoid robots to aid her in her criminal activities... plus she is infamously known for inventing a chemical serum which transforms normal humans into werewolves.
In the comics, Nightshade apparently secretes chemical pheromones from her body that affect the will of humans & certain animals, including werewolves, making them obedient to her commands.

my kids went nuts I was VERY happy to see BP is the LEADER and they showing his INTELLIGENCE.
I can't remember a popular and successful cartoon series completely over hauling its roster like that.

Yep. It was a good way to make it make "comic book sense" for him to be hanging out in America instead of ruling his kingdom on another continent.

Meanwhile - We took the kids to the movies. They showed the new shorter trailer in front of Spidey when it came out. Whole theatre full of white folks were clapping and hollering. That beat was just too hype. The nerdy black dudes were silent as fuck and the other niggas in the crowd was laughing and clowning the white boys who applauded. They did the same for the Thor Ragnarok teaser. Niggas REALLY didn't understand that trailer or the importance of the song and clowned some more.
I just looked at wifey, she looked at me like what the fuck is happening here?
