I been reading the back and forth about the X-Man Storm.

As a long time life long comic book fan in all forms

Story wise?

It would be incredible to include Storm

I already had that idea a few years back...

a dream sequence or just a memory of T'Challa as a child visiting a foreign city with his parents gets robbed by a little girl with beautiful eyes and chases her through the crowded streets feeling a joy and freedom he has never felt before and since. Just as she finally gets away he snatches her head dress and revels beautiful all white braids.

Why in the f*ck would Marvel or Disney not want THAT scene?

Business wise?

It's a win win for Fox. It shows a willingness to work with Disney and continue to grow an already fruitful partnership...

See the success of logan deadpool and legion.

And being in business with Disney is never bad.

And builds goodwill with fans.

Storm is an icon.

Disney movies and tv shows dont have the range or depth of character development that comics can afford to have.

Are you aware that we are talking about MCU and not Marvel comics??? In the comics you can erase the past whenever you want. Cant do it in MCU.

ok, they can do what ever they want in the MCU... and in the books character flaws stay - Pym is still a wife beater - Starks is still an alcoholic - Civil War still happened - dead or alive Professor X is still an asshole

there are 3 phases to the Marvel slate - like 3 acts to a play - the movies you've seen so far are part 1 and now, part 2 just started
-they are still introducing characters and developing them - its the main reason the villains have been weak. Strong compelling nuanced villains require more focus on the villain, sometimes more than the heros. Based on what I know of the plots Spiderman and BP's villains will be very good - they are going to get generous screen time to develop and as phase 3 starts you are going to be seeing even better villains on screen across the MCU. There is more conflict similar to Civil War to come

Heros are only as strong as their villains- Feige and even over at DC, Geoff Johns, live by this

Everything about this movie will be lit from the film,action figures,the press junkets

I think it would work if they worked it more like a shield movie with Her Hawkeye, Quake, Nick Fury, and another lower powered shield agent. I think it would only work if they just expected 150 to 200 mil domestic
