I hope that pic of it is wrong. Because I see a multi prop driven drone, not jet propelled.

And let's not forget that Ms. Bhutto was assassinated shortly after this interview.
I posted this interview on BGOL when she said it.
People still believe in the whole Terrorism BS...might as well keep the lie going.
The thread title along with our military budget are both hilarious.
The funny thing is the fact that all these advanced technologies/war machines are really meant for the oppressed people of the world, not the "evil doers".
The only people that purely believe in the war on terrorism are the same ones that believed in the war on communism. Ive already stated my piece about the military budget. Shit is out of control and Im in the military.
Honestly between Iraq and Afghanistan, a person would have to wonder which of two was the more worse engagement. With Iraq, it was an outright unplanned disaster that cost a shit ton of money and more lives than Afghanistan(so far) but atleast the world knew Iraq was the 3rd largest oil exporter(i think) at that time. So we know it was economic incentive. But Afghanistan. THERE AINT SHIT IN THAT GOTDAMN COUNTRY TO EXPLOIT. Its costing less in money and lives but its a fucking barren wasteland.
New York Times said:The United States has discovered nearly $1 trillion in untapped mineral deposits in Afghanistan, far beyond any previously known reserves and enough to fundamentally alter the Afghan economy and perhaps the Afghan war itself, according to senior American government officials.

wake the fuck up
eeeeeh wouldn't say all that fam

We are in it for the long haul![]()
I remember reading about that but even that shit is questionable. How did they even come to the conclusion of it being valued at nearly 1 tril. That shit is setting itself up to be fools gold. And why on gods green earth would you have geologists over in a war zone in the first place.
I understand what you're sayin' but none of that really means anything when da US has tech that has been in existence for 10-20 years or more.
sigh.....
My good fellow do you realize that the Clinton and Bush administrations sold military tech secrets to China?
Ok great, you got your laugh at my expense. I do realize what the both of you guys are saying, it's just this and other news articles that upset me. For instance, some time September last year, I heard on WTOP (DMV area) that an organization (don't remember which one) has identified the vulnerable but vital resources in the US. They went on to point out that they were woefully under-protected and I'm just thinking to myself, if I was a terrorist, wouldn't this give me ideas that I didn't even entertain in the first place?
Just my opinion, some shit should remain "in-house" till after the fact for our own protection, I think we're taking this freedom of information too far. Just my opinion.
