New F1 proposal for 2021 designs. I'm looking for to this simpler front wing next year to see if that improves following.
I'm looking forward simpler aero rules. The 18 wheels should bring some cool innovation in the suspensions and braking. Don't know what the plans are for the engine, but 2.4 V8 where fine with me. Didn't see the need to change that to the current formula especially in hindsight.
Yeah, I've seen these 2021 as well as 2018 design mockups. idk, man, I wonder if the wings will make that much difference. Remember the silver age of F1 saw the most downforce and the races were very competitive.
For one thing, the formula was looser allowing privateers to compete, for another we didn't have these god-awful tracks with little to no passing zones. I think those are the most harmful to the sport. Fuck Herman Tilke.
Sooner or later we're going to have to face the fact that death is what made the golden and silver ages so breathtaking. That and those screaming engines.
