Is the language issue between French and Kreyol a problem, should one language be used universally on the island?
One of many issues but education period is the issue. There needs a mass scale educational program that is free of charge. Most of the Nation can’t afford food to eat on a daily basis so their most likely won’t be spending it on education

No, kreyol is the official language of the country.
Solely speaking french is for flaunting status.

Everyone who speaks french, speaks creole.
Everyone who speaks kreyol, does not speak french.

What language do they use for politics?

My thinking is that if nearly all Haitians speak Kreyol, everything from the Head of State to children entering school should be speaking Kreyol, there is should be no disconnect from the working class to the elite.

I love Haitian women. I'm African American, so I don't fight for any other causes but my communities - - however

I'd be more inclined if my BGOL Haiti crew linked me with them super special dark skinned women yall hate over there so much.
I'll take FB links, insta profiles, #'s allat

Thanks in advanced

As of the last 50 years, a very formalized version of Kreyol with heavy French influence and syntax.
It's kind of like comparing hillbilly talk to the queen's English. Prior to that, french was mainly spoken amongst politicians and elites to govern the affairs of the country.

US State Department orders departure of non-emergency personnel from Haiti

The US State Department on Thursday ordered the departure of non-emergency personnel from Haiti as the security situation in the country deteriorates.

“On July 27, 2023, the Department of State ordered the departure of family members of U.S. government employees and non-emergency U.S. government employees,” the agency said in an updated travel advisory.

“U.S. citizens in Haiti should depart Haiti as soon as possible by commercial or other privately available transportation options, in light of the current security situation and infrastructure challenges,” the travel advisory urges. “U.S. citizens wishing to depart Port-au-Prince should monitor local news and only do so when considered safe.”

The order follows a travel advisory from the US Embassy in Haiti on Thursday, advising US nationals to leave the country immediately using commercial transportation due to recent armed clashes between criminal groups and police in Port-au-Prince.

The Department of State warned in a statement of a high threat of violent crime and kidnapping throughout the city. It added that the US government’s capacity to provide emergency services to US citizens in Haiti is severely constrained.

“Given the recent armed clashes between gangs and the police and the high threat of violent crime and kidnapping throughout Port-au-Prince, the Department of State urges U.S. citizens to make plans to depart Haiti as soon as possible via commercial means,” the earlier advisory stated.

“The most recent violent clashes have particularly affected the neighborhoods of Vivy Michel, Tabarre, Torcel, Tapage and Trutier. The U.S. government is extremely limited in its ability to provide emergency services to U.S. citizens in Haiti,” it continued.

A New Hampshire nurse and her child have been kidnapped in Haiti

A New Hampshire nurse and her child were kidnapped in Haiti late last week, according to the humanitarian organization El Roi Haiti.

Alix Dorsainvil works as a community health nurse for El Roi Haiti and is also married to the group's founder and director, Sandro Dorsainvil, who grew up in Port-au-Prince.

In a statement posted to its website on Saturday, El Roi Haiti said Alix and the couple's child were taken Thursday morning from the organization's campus near Port-au-Prince.

"Alix is a deeply compassionate and loving person who considers Haiti her home and the Haitian people her friends and family," the group said. "Alix has worked tirelessly as our school and community nurse to bring relief to those who are suffering as she loves and serves the people of Haiti in the name of Jesus."

El Roi Haiti is a Christian organization that operates a K-12 school for Haitian children and offers a variety of other programs, including adult education, vocational instruction and discipleship training.

Alix Dorsainvil is originally from New Hampshire, but had been living in Haiti and operating a children's clinic for El Roi Haiti, according to a promotional video on the organization's website.

"Haitians are such a resilient people. They're full of joy and life and love," she said in the video. "I'm so blessed to be able to know so many amazing Haitians."

El Roi Haiti said it was working with its "partners and trusted relationships" to get Alix and her child returned safely, and said it was "grateful for the outpouring of prayers, care, and support for our colleague."

A State Department spokesperson told NPR that the administration is aware of reports that two U.S. citizens had been kidnapped in Haiti.

"The U.S. Department of State and our embassies and consulates abroad have no higher priority than the safety and security of U.S. citizens overseas," the spokesperson said.

The State Department is in regular contact with Haitian authorities, the spokesperson added, and is continuing to work with them and other U.S. government interagency partners.

Unrest in Haiti has worsened lately, with gangs controlling much of the country including the capital, Port-au-Prince.

The National Human Rights Defense Network said earlier this month that deadly violence and kidnappings have been surging in Haiti, with at least 75 people killed and 40 abducted between May and mid-July, the Associated Press reported.

In 2021, following the assassination of President Jovenel Moïse, kidnappers abducted a group of 17 missionaries on their way back from helping to build an orphanage. Five of the missionaries were later released, while 12 would eventually escape their captors.

On July 14, the U.N. Security Council adopted a resolution asking the secretary-general to provide some possible options to "enhance the security situation" in Haiti, including a possible U.N. peacekeeping force.

Bruh, I used to mess with this one Haitian chick who was drop-dead bad, she looked like a darker version of Sade she was very feminine and straight, but she had only one problem, home girl had like 7 kids, and I thought she was lying because all of them except two was still in Haiti plus her shit was tight, no stretch marks, firm tits and flat as a dime stomach. Oh, another thing she used to date one of the high-ranking dudes from the former Priminster and she told me that if the other Haitian women were to find out they might try to kill her. Yeah after I heard all of that I had to tap out, and the last time we fucked I took off my rubber and went to sleep and when I woke up she was trying to ride me raw dog.
It took all I had to pull out before I really got started, good thing too because I heard two years later she had twins. :smh:

Had a few Haitian women, and from what I've experienced and heard many of them are groomed to please and hold on to their men. Matter of fact I would have married that one who looked like Sade if it weren't for her having all those kids. Oh another thing, most of them are very religious and take the passage that God told us to replenish the earth seriously. So yeah there's that.

I dont feel for missionaries, but even then it takes a special person to go there and at least attempt to help kids.

Haiti's fleeting luck is about run out as I dont think anybody down there has any clue what hell is about to be visited on them by Kenyan police(A nice name for what is essentially the best of Kenya's special forces). Biden, who is hosting the Kenyan president right now, has already given them the best weapons with which to conduct this operation too.

They are going to go block by block in port au prince and kill EVERYBODY deemed a threat. We have Africans doing it for plausible deniability.
