There were plenty of healthy people to die from COVID-19, A friend of mine who worked at Brookdale told me the horror stories of healthy young folks dying after their lungs basically crystallized from COVID-19 after being hospitalized and seemingly getting better, only to discover when she returned back to work the following day, they expired.
I've heard over 15 stories just like this with people with no underlying health issues.

People in Haiti may not have been vaccinated, but there is no direct correlation (or at least not one demonstrated) between a lack of vaccination and a lowered death rate. That is anecdotal at best, unless someone does some more research on the matter.
If I had to guess (and I would just be guessing), the main contributing factor was probably a matter of isolation from many of the carriers of the disease (and its variants) and a culture that may have actually bothered to listen to some common sense approaches to disease control (we had people actively coughing on people during a pandemic and other dumb things like that).
Believe what you want to, follow what you want to, but this is hardly a smoking gun in terms of anything medical.
