BGOL-Ed: Official IOS 9 Course by Udemy 2016

- do y'all have a idea for your app
(Probably seem like a crazy, question but I'm was just wondering if some of us were just creating a app, creating an app for a certain market, etc!!!)

- Trying to figure out, something each one of us could do in other apps that symbolize they group.

As en example...use a certain symbol, quote, loading page loads the same, whatever...just something to that effect.

I think it's kool that we're strangers but family, who's getting together at this level to create life changing situations...

I've got two app ideas, both of which are very simple.

One is for fashion and the other is for music lovers.

I'm doing the Android course. Not moving as quickly as you guys, but I'm moving.

This course would be much easier if you have some basic knowledge of Java script. But it's not hard to follow.

Android should be next for the group. We can do six months iOS, and then six months Android(cover 2016). This can be an ongoing thing with new things done every six months.

...or we could create another thread for Android, and another for the web development course.. Then again, seems like most of you already started on iOS, so I'll wait. I'll try to get my skills up in the meantime.
Getting started asap

You can get a refund if you want. I think you have 30 days.

Lexx has this stickied. Hopefully, we can just keep this one sticky idea active. Yes, we could do more at once, but the idea is to keep something on the front page and get participation.

Actually I have four and a kinda...

The "kinda" is an idea that been talked about with a partner...so it's not my idea. Actually this app is the reason I brought the course. I figure it would be beneficial to learn this for the future, instead of paying a developer.

This one will catch on ASAP, we're planning to connect it to a project that we just finished.

Nice.

Even if you decide to pay a developer in the future, you can guide him on the technical aspects you want built.

Also you would not get robbed as the person will recognize you know what you are speaking about.

In addition as you take a look at the IOS SDK, you will see so many features that the ideas just start flowing from your head on what is possible to be built!

Have you fellas dropped the $99 for a developer account to grab Xcode ? If not point me to the waters

For the dev account? How are you able to get it for that price

Somewhere in the forum, the instructor said you do not need the developer account to complete the course.

Yeah there is no way around it if you want to put yoru app in teh app store.

I have an app there right now for the last year and every year I re-up

Consider that went i was working with my dev, there was no way to test it with an actual phone so I had to drop the enterprise price $299 to be able to give it to beta testers.

Now there is Test Flight that takes care of that.

You don't have to drop the $99 until you are ready to put an app into the app store.

Lol...

lovely

so you got xcode installed

Hell no...

My Mac OS is outdated for the Xcode...

This been a process, with today being a 2 1/2 hr with a high then low...

Start the downloading (had 1.3 gbs, completed) @ 7pm before I started working out...

Finished up around 8:o0, see 2.5 gbs completed was like man this kool, "guess I'll finish the rest tomorrow..."

Then thought about it, "shit just complete it today and start building tonight..."

So I chilled while it downloaded, got done round 9:20...

Verified then checked volumes, then loaded, click the Xcode tab.... then boom...

That message appeared!!!

The new version of xcode needs to newer OSX

Download the OSX starting now, i think it takes about 40 mins.

Then download xcode

I update my shit last Saturday, even update it right after that message popped up...there's nothing available

Had an extremely busy day. I got Xcode downloaded now it's paused on installing for some reason.
