First discovered in Mexico, the Chihuahua is best known for being the smallest dog breed in the world. Extremely loyal to its owner.

I thought chihuahua mexico was much further inland closer to central america..

I aint know it was that close to united states...

they have to be intelligent that brain size is crazy....
Yeah that's why you can find a lot of Chihuahuas in Texas because a lot of the Mexicans have them there. I have 6 of them and raise them on my ranch so they can have lots of room to run around.

they must LOVE that shti.. my lil dog... is stuck in nyc... loves central park... but dont get out that much...

because Im not really a dog person like that.. I do spoil him with lots of treats tho..

and let him come with me to walk the trash to the compactor room... fuckin dog thinks walks to the trash compactor room is a doggie vacation.. he loves tryin to smell dog smells amongst all the other crap... I only give my dog, raw hide treats, and healthy DRY food...

they seem so much healthier when you just give your dog dry food..

what treats you give your dogs? damn you said you got six.. well they are small. but still you need some nice space for even six SMALL dogs

dry food or wet food??

That's good you can let them go to the park with you, dogs love outdoor adventures. As for treats I give them doggy edible bones and for food I give them kibble and bits the mini bites kind they love that and have gotten use to it.

Thanks, I'm gonna order them a 5-Ib bag of the taste of the wild dog food just to see what they think about it first before buying a bigger bag of it.

This dog needs gentle and consistent training from puppyhood on to control his nipping as well as any tendency he has to fight with other dogs. Like many small dogs, Chihuahuas aren't aware of their own size.

crazy how small they are.....???? funny when I was younger them dogs seemed much more angrier...

now they seem to have gotten friendlier... unless folks are

just training them better now...

but they can be some fiesty little creatures...
Facts! Them things were known for being feisty and angry monsters back when I was young.

One of the BEST dogs I ever had was a Chocolate Chihuahua. Koco was a damn champ and one helluva a pussy magnet.
I bought him for my wife to have a lap dog but he bonded with ME.
He was intelligent as all get out and this muhfucka didn't seem to believe he was any form of canine at all.

He ended up having epilepsy and I had to have him put down after medications became ineffective and recovery from his seizures were taking longer. I couldn't stand for my sidekick to suffer.

I got my wife a Pug after that, not realizing how active they are either. My mother-in-law fell in love and took him and then we got a Pug-Boston Terrier mix. They were good dogs too. If not for my wife, I'd have never fucked with ANY small breed of dog.

Her last dog was a Shi-Tzu before she passed. She runs my 69lb Bully like she's a damn Pit herself.

Damn I'm sorry your dog passed.

Oh wow you've had a lot of pets. I use to have huskies, they were fun dogs. They all died though but I had them for a long time.
I had a Samoyed and a Malamute at different times when I was coming up.

My brother and I were walking the Samoyed with friends and their dogs and our dog found a garbage bag full of dead kittens.
That muhfucka rolled around in that dead stench and a couple of the others followed suit. That stench hit the air like :eek2::puke:...I looked at Snowball, looking all proud and shit...:angry::curse::hmm: Snowball, you stupid motherfucka!! Get cho ass home right now!! :pain::furious:

It took two baths with all of that fur to wash the funk off of his ass. I've had a number of dogs roll around in some putrid bullshit on occasion but at least they were short-haired breeds.:lol::lol:

I couldn't do another Malamute, as much as I like them. They're just too damned big.

My son has a dog that I've really grown attached to. It is a female pit boxer mix. I never liked dogs and when my kids were young they begged me for one, but I always resisted. If I'd know how cool a dog can be as a companion I would have gotten one twenty years ago even before they asked.
