BGOL Black men support Trump to disrupt America but won’t support the squad?

There are any number of established methods available to elected Congressperson to take grievance with and even open an investigation against the military.

Open joint sessions
Closed session
Special committee
Even filing a request for a 1-on-1 with everything up to a 2-star General.

Taking a dump on our forces on Twitter for 100 million people around the world to see and read is not one of those methods.

So the issue you have is that they voice their displeasure on social media and not in private sessions? I can get that. Fair enough...but to play devil's advocate, are they doing that to make citizens aware of what they're fighting for.

What does any of that have to do with the soliders who went to her, frankly, despot shithole of a country and died in an attempt to end the massacre of her people? Huh?

Fuck her and her pious bullshit. Where does she get off? As far as I'm concerned, she can take the first thing smoking back to Somalia and think about it for awhile - while men of her own kind beat her, and rape her, and slice off her clitoris, and surpress and repress her rights.

Nah, the only thing she needs to say is: "I don't always agree with the military, but I thank them for liberating my people and giving me and my family safety and opportunity. Thank you for your service. I am grateful."

That's the only thing she should fucking say publicly. Any other grievance - take it to a closed session of Congress.

Calm down good brother. Your posts are on some La Costra Nostra "you owe me forever" shit and are turning into rage filled racist rants. We can talk about this shit like adults man. Omar is more American than Somalian after being here for damn near 20 years. She has little to no ties with Somalia as a country seeing as though she was a kid when she left.

You all said we weren't allowed to ask anything from president Obama so that he wouldn't look like some militant. We were to give him no opposition in the belief that after he was elected the 2nd term we'd get the real Obama.
:dunno:

I think it is safe to say 100% of all so-called black men that voted for him were more hopeful about the perceived change that was taking place in this country and the morale of the so-called black man was probably higher than it had been in over 500 years.

But after seeing us get shot dead in the streets, facing even higher incarceration rates, and discrimination and the man that looked like us, the one that was the leader of the free world, tell us everything that was happening to us was our fault? Then when other groups faced hardships, the same President was front and center defending them at every turn like a rookie defense lawyer? Most of us started to wake up to what this system is and demand our respect.

There is no way I would give my vote away to a politician again that wasn’t 100% on board with policy for me and my community, even if it helps no one else, even if the candidate looks like me. If my vote was the last from keeping the current democrats who hate me, from tying with a republican, I’d withhold my vote.

What the hell does that have to do with the cost of tea in China
I'm not surprised at all that you don't understand. This is how I know you dudes don't really take in information or seek to participate in any meaningful discourse. You just argue for the sake of arguing. Several people have explicitly told you how restricting your participation in the political process while still taxing you is the enemies' goal. Why do you think locally Republicans employ gerrymandering to the extent they do? Do you think ex-felons would have such difficulties getting their full civil rights restored if the prisons weren't unjustly and overwhelming filled with Black people? But sure enough ex-felons are eligible to be tax-payers immediately upon release.

You do know Hispanics called Obama the Deporter In Chief because he deported so many illegal immigrants, but don’t let truth and facts interrupt your narrative.

I'm not about to give a civics 101 lesson to an idiot who thinks "electing someone to office is doing said person a favor "

Dont quote me again bro

It must be REALLY awkward for you to see the party of Obama go from this view

and what does that do??

1 star for the title no black man is responsible for trump getting elected. So don't put that shit on us.
This is the dumbest shit I’ve seen posted.

In my original post I quote a person saying he supports Trump to disrupt America. One of many people on BGOL have said that. Then asked why aren’t they supporting the squad...

How the fuck do you get it was about electing Trump.

And stop with the silly cliche shit. If anyone of any color voted for Trump they are responsible

Stop blaming that shit on us. It was white women that put trump in and it is white women that will keep him in.

This is the dumbest shit I’ve seen posted.

And he should’ve... they were illegal.

Doesn’t have shit to do with him bending over backwards to help the LGBT, but I think we all know why :hmm:

It keeps a republican in office if it comes down to it.

I’d rather deal with a known enemy than one that I have to spend one eye watching my back for the inevitable double-cross.
you wanna talk about the double-cross...the GOP has a long history of that buddy:

1. The Republicans turned their backs on blacks for political expediency on more than one occasion. Google The Compromise of 1877, then there are the administrations of Warren Harding and Calvin Coolidge which showed no interest in assisting Blacks regaining the franchise or putting a halt to lynchings and violence in the South in the early 1900s... Black support for the GOP largely ended during the administration of Herbert Hoover when the Great Depression devastated the Black community and Hoover seemed to ignore that community’s plight.

And let's not forget Republican strategist Lee Atwater's 1981 quote about the southern strategy: You start out in 1954 by saying, “Ni**er, ni**er, ni**er.” By 1968 you can’t say “ni**er”—that hurts you, backfires. So you say stuff like, uh, forced busing, states’ rights, and all that stuff, and you’re getting so abstract. Now, you’re talking about cutting taxes, and all these things you’re talking about are totally economic things and a byproduct of them is, blacks get hurt worse than whites... “We want to cut this,” is much more abstract than even the busing thing, uh, and a hell of a lot more abstract than “Ni**er, ni**er.” )

2. The Republicans party has been caught trying to suppress or gerrymander against the black vote on a number of occasions.

3. The Republicans of the last 50 year are NOTHING like the Republicans that backed abolishment of slavery in the 1800s... in fact, those republicans were considered the liberals of their day and the democrats were conservative by comparison.

4. Republicans have made it clear they don't want the black vote.

and you want to keep THAT in office??? hey, I'm not saying the democrats are better as neither party has been a true ally to the black community...but I'll take my chances with the dems...FOR THE TIME BEING.

Crying like a bitch will just embolden this white boys more, jesus christ.. get a fucking hold of yourself
Agreed! That should not have been published. She should've gotten her damned composure and then recounted her story if she felt that she had to. Just how much of a shock WAS this to her? She was completely caught off guard and taken aback.

The funny thing is the no vote squad thinks 4 more years of Trump will hurt white people more than us when Trump’s entire platform is to advance white people at the expense of black and brown people. Lmao.

The white people they think they’re hurting are not going to be the object of justice department crackdowns and rollback of protections.

Playing 1 dimensional go fish
That IS straight out of Lee Atwater's mouth concerning the Southern Strategy, to enact Policies that will hurt Black people more than (less poor) Whites.
I do not advocate staying at home. I advocate voting for the Green Party if nothing else, to force the Two-Party System from blocking them out of the process.

Fuck that! We have a fucking Tweeter-in-Chief. The nerve to feign offense at the use of Social Media. His whole reasoning for not using formal channels, as the Eagle Scout is alluding to, is supposedly so that he can interact with his base with no filters. Turnabout is fair play.

"She should find some other way to protest corrupt Govt. policies. Attacking the enforcement arm of the Govt. is unAmerican...I have friends who died, Hell my Grandfather wore that uniform...blah, blah, blah."

This nigga is new to the reperations schtick. 8 years he bashed Obama daily, never mentioned reperations once. The ADOS thread appears he's rambling about reperations now.

Man, these are just anti vote idiots that have a new way of defending their non voting ass. If they were really working to get reparations, they would get off BGOL and twitter and start working to get more Dems in office since they admit with their own mouths Republicans will never vote for it.

They just want the issue to troll and be assholes. And to justify not voting.

They sad part is they want to claim the leverage and political capital gained by our people that DO get out and vote and organize and get people to the polls when they haven't done shit but post on the internet.

Also post where Obama said black people being shot dead in the streets, having higher incarceration rates and discrimination were all our fault.

What I remember is when Louis Gates got arrested getting into his own home, Obama spoke out and call the cop out and getting roasted for it by republicans. I remember Obama speaking out on Trayvon and getting roasted by Republicans for it. I remember Obama ordering the justice department to investigate the Ferguson police department and being roasted for it by Republicans. I remember Obama banned the sale of military weapons to local and state police. I remember Obama commuting or pardoning more federal prisoners than any President in history mostly non violent drug offenses. I remember Obama founding My Brother's Keeper to help young men in our communities (and is still running it through his foundation)

And all people like you can say is.... he signed daca and stopped discriminating against gays so he helped them and not us...

The only respect you get by not voting is the respect of David Duke, the Klan, and the Alt Right for doing their work for them. And you make the work of black people in this country that are actually working to improve things that much harder.

I agree with this. There's a moron I know that for years bragged that "voting dont do nothing!"...never voted a day in his life. Now he's chanting #ADOS bullshit as justification for not voting. Never once has he ever talked about reparations or any of that...
