i think dude is just king hater. he's always been a hater supreme on wax just to deaf ears he parlayed that love and hip hop avenue to a podcast and a show and im happy for him.
like i said i hope the shows is a monumental success

Yo, am I the only one who thinks Bruno Mars was out of pocket was pretty much saying he was begged to be at the show by Stephen Hill. The part when he said, "Stephen Hill flew out to where I was and asked me to be here tonight."

This show was multi-cast on 6 different channels last night, why would ANY entertainer have to begged for exposure like that? To me it came across as, "look, I normally wouldn't be here with these niggas, but here I am last minute."

If he used the word beg, then hell yeah. But if he said it like he was flattered that Steve went through all the trouble or he was saying it like Steven showed that he really wanted him on the show in a way others wouldn't then it's not a cocky thing to say. I have to hear it, but a lot of people were shouting Steven out because he's not working there anymore, that may have just been his shout out.

but I gotta give them credit that platform format and idea was EXCELLENT...

and they executed well and first and proper.

But I can see VERY soon someone else coming into that space.

Cause as much as I salute them?

This COULD be done a WHOLE lot better by the RIGHT people

The Debarge Unsung was voted as the best Unsung episode ever and TVOne immediately started talking about doing a biopic based on them...

After seeing what BET did with New Edition, I'd rather BET do it..

The problem for me is, New Edition is a legendary group with a ton of hits to back up the story. A lot of people and group's movies won't make noise because they don't have enough hit records. The Debarge family is a good one because just El by himself got a few..and from what I remember they have so many drug stories etc, the story alone might be enough. For example, Xscape is nowhere near TLC as far as legacy..and even with Kandi and Tiny known through reality tv..they would have to air out all the dirt so that the story would be good even if they weren't a real life group..and those chicks not going to name all the dudes they was fucking so what's the point.
