Finally arrived back in NYS, leaving FL behind. I loved my time in Florida but I'm happy to be back home in Buffalo.

Damn I missed this post
What made you move back to western NY?
Family and financial.

My kids were growing up in FL without any cousins or family. My mother isn't getting any younger and we were able to make a pretty penny selling our FL home and buying here. Homes in WNY are still pretty cheap comparatively speaking so my wife and I said fuck it, put our home on the market and sold it. We closed on our NY home a few weeks ago and all of our debts, save for student loans (and new, lower mortgage) are paid off.

We were able to put a nice down payment on the new home. Still getting adjusted to WNY, but we're happy, especially with all the political BS in FL.

Lolz my kids were able to experience hurricanes, Snowpocalypse and a record setting Blizzard all in one school year!

welcome back home bruh
i tell people all the time that our area is a great place to raise a family
but single men should stay far away from this area
but ive had it with these winters even though this year it was mild as fuck
buffalo went through it tho

nah. it takes me about 5 hours to get to nyc from rochester.
and buffalo is only 50 mins away
hes right its about 6 hours and if youre speeding less than that
the nys thruway makes that shit an easy drive
I was referring to someone traveling the thruway between Buffalo and NYC. If you're getting to nyc from the roc, then you're probably averaging 75 -80 mph and cutting through Scranton.
