They really need to move the Rays from Tampa Bay. They have no fanbase. It was a boring World Series with them in it. No shade to the Brewers they deserved to win but it would’ve been much cooler had the Brewers faced a team with a better fanbase. It felt like when the Phillies beat them in 2008 and the Dodgers beat them in 2020. Both World Series were boring with the Rays in it.

Pelicans need to be moved too. New Orleans don’t need a NBA team. Saints is all y’all need. It will always be a Saints city. Florida need to get rid of the Marlins and Rays. That state don’t need a MLB team at all.

The Rays put a product on the field that should sell; the Pelicans have not.
Put the current Pelicans product in Seattle, St. Louis, Vegas, and once the novelty of them being new wears off, the attendance will suffer.
I didn’t miss your point. The Rays have always had terrible home crowds so this isn’t nothing new. They had bad home crowds in the two other World Series they were in. Putting out a product doesn’t equate to having fan support. Some cities are just more passionate about sports than others. The Rays and Marlins have struggled with fan support since they have existed. Those two markets are just not baseball markets that people really care about.
Pelicans need to be sold and moved. I would even suggest moving them to Austin, TX. The Texas teams in the NBA usually do well with fan support. Austin is a big enough city that can have a team.
