Baseball.........Anybody still interested?

My fault, it's a reporter with a prediction named my phillies as the top 2 landing spot for him..

I believe the cubs is #1 if they can keep him..
OH ok well I think hes gone from the Cubs; Cubs run their organization like the Marlins and its ridiculous; I hope he leaves; I hate organizations who act broke when they are the complete opposite...

I think the same, as much as I want to see him stay the Cubs know they gotta get thag bullpen together and thay aint going to be cheap.

Anywhere but Philly !!! They dont deserve the sweat off my balls !!!
Fuck thr Phillies !!!
I personally think he goes to the Dodgers; from what I heard that want him a lot; the way the Dodgers are run now, when they come calling they just dont get turned down; and if they want him they wont be outbid...

Thats what SI is saying. If LA repeats, its going to be hard to turn down a Brinx truck, with a pennant as a hood ornament.

Yea they wanted to trade for him last year and didnt; they have been in on him for a moment and I just think if they offer then they will be hard to beat! Unless he dont like Cali which some players dont; but its something for an organization to have all its players speak highly of you...

No love for Busch????

Busch had a great year, but this was his first full season, and I'd want to see it again. If what you saw this year is the real thing, you've got a gem. If they do it right, the Cubs should be in the championship mix for the next several years. But, this is Chicago we're talking about here, the land of cheap, just-get-by ownership. Cubs fans have to put INTENSE pressure on Ricketts to do the right thing.

I considered them to be one of the worse ownerships in professional sports; acting like they broke and shit!! they worse than all others!! shit is flat out ridiculous...

Cubs have a lot of young talent at the moment, Tucker, PCA, Swanson, maybe Ballesteros will be ready next year. Pitching situaion will likely be dictated around what they so with Imanaga and Horton. I would love to see them go after Cease or Valdez but i feel thay highly unlikely, as well as a top tier closer. As much as I would like to see Tucker stay, preferably on something ahort term, may 3-4 years at a discounted rate to make another run, I feel thats also unlikely. Hoyer got his work cut out for him, the Cubs are legit now and fans will expect them back in thr playoffs next year.

The Cubs are in a really nice situation, but now is when your front office has got to earn their big paychecks. Ballesteros is already a Major League hitter, but where are you going to play him? If Tucker comes back, he can't DH, because that will belong to Seiya. He might just be trade bait, depending on what happens with Tucker. And with Imanaga being 35, they may be tempted to move on from him altogether. Whatever they do, it seems to me strengthening their pitching needs to be job #1. Ought to be a fun off-season either way.
