Beast at LSU, I can't see the Pirares getting rid of him. They know he is an ace, conditioning and pitch count will be a priority.

Willie easily. 1) Willie knew the game inside and out. He was already playing professionally in his mid-teens, and by the time he was a major league veteran, he was basically a manager on the field, setting his team's defense and even having input with the pitching staff on how to approach opposing lineups. He had a knowledge of the game that few people have ever had, players or managers included; 2) Center Field is a much more critical position for a team, particularly defensively, than left field, and it's the more difficult position to play; 3) Willie may have been the greatest pure power hitter in history (see my earlier post in this thread for my reasons for this claim) while Barry's insane power production came after his insane steroid infusion; 4) Willie led his teams when they went to the postseason, and he was at his best at crunch time. Barry, on the other hand, usually disappeared come playoff time. Other than the 2002 World Series where he was decent, Barry had maybe the worst collective playoff production of any elite player ever; and 5) Willie was generally loved and admired by his teammates, and was always the leader of his teams, while Barry could be selfish, mean-spirited, and was generally despised by many of his teammates, and was never considered a true team leader, as great a player as he was.
