The whole theme copied the Justice League movie, killing fools and collecting some mystical power.
For everyone saying star Lord ruined the plan to remove Thanos' glove, what was the next move after they removed it? Thanos was still alive and beat hulks ass without the use of the gauntlet. Who would weild the glove? Star Lord was almost destroyed and needed the help of all the guardians to weild just the power Stone(or whatever stone it was in guardians one) so they remove it, what stops the mad titan from stomping anmid hole in all of them and taking it back? Lol looks to me like it was a doomed plan from jump, Or did I miss something?
Dr. Strange could've sent the glove somewhere else....another dimension or planet.......

Remember the whole point of the glove was to allow the wearer to use the stones. Once you have the glove Thanos can't do anything....you could use the space stone to send him into deep space, or the sun. After that you can use the space stone or Dr Strange to hide the other stones.

The thing is besides Strange, Thanos, Malekith and maybe Loki nobody else knows how to use the stones.
Vision and Strucker had the mind stone and never used it properly.
Ronan used it as a blunt tool and not to increase his own power.
Red Skull used the space stones to make guns instead of teleportation or moving planets and stars.
Get the glove off and try and beat him in a fist fight. Thanos never went all out, they would still have a hard time without the glove

That's why I loved the Dr strange movie 1st time we saw the true potential of an infinity gem utilized.

The millisecond Thanos woke up and realized the glove wasn't on his hand, he would have bodied everyone. I don't think that any of them could wield the gauntlet so at best I think that their plan was to have Dr. Strange use a magic trick to send the glove somewhere else. But that still leaves them on trapped on a planet with a pissed beyond belief Thanos.
The epic ass beatings he would put on them was probably at least one million of the 14,000,605 outcomes that Strange saw.

if Strange is able to fully use the time stone - he can use the gauntlet...
as for Stark...
In MCU the gauntlet isn't mystical - its advanced technology...
IMO Thanos' line "you aren't the only one cursed with knowledge"
is foreshadowing

I'm seriously asking cause to be honest Dr. Strange is the character that I know the least about. And I was wondering about the teleporting powers the whole time that they were crashing on Titan. I was wondering why didn't he just teleport them off the ship. Or send everyone to the mirror dimension.
The movies haven't really done a good job explaining the limits of his magic. I thought they didn't teleport there because he could only do it on Earth or only to places that he knows. Something like Nightcrawler in the X-Men movies.
I don't think it's a nitpick to point out that their plan was stupid. Just a few throw away lines of exposition about Strange's power limit is all that was needed.
I kinda think that they're purposefully not explaining the limits of Strange's magic so they can always bring him into a story to magically ex machina themselves out of any corner.
In his own movie he used the time stone to trap Dormammu in a loop. In Thor he teleported all over the damn place and sonned Loki. He sonned the God of Mischief and magical bullshit. But when Thanos came to town all he had was the magic hand shield thingy.
