Saw it for the first time this past Saturday. Avoided all 36 pages of this thread and all spoilers somehow for 9 days lol.
I loved Infinity war and thought it would be hard to top.
I was wrong. This movie was the shit!
The comedy of fat Thor, Rocket getting chased and called a rabbit in asgard, Americas ass, Hulk taking selfies with kids, Thanos just chilling on a rock waiting for the smoke at the end.
Way too much to take in.
11/10 stars!

which means once Cap went back and stayed he shouldnt of been able to show up on the bench from the timeline he left
listen, im all for the MCU take on time travel. it took me a minute to grasp it but once i did, suddenly what they did with Cap didnt make sense, or at least was inconsistent
not only that, if the MCU claims every when you go back you create a new timeline, using that logic you shouldnt be able to ‘take the stones back’ to the exact place/ time they were taken
i think whoever wrote it was out of their league when it came to time travel or they just tried too hard
My wife and little man broke the dam wide open too. It wasn't as sad to me as when Peter dusted. That shit was unexpected and devastating.

So basically they did this time travel shit to introduce characters that was a part of infinity wars in the comics; but because marvel didnt have their rights at the time, they couldnt be in in the war??....its the same answer to your last question - and almost every other time question in this thread
diverging timelines,
same for when past Thanos from the same timeline got killed,
but Infinity War still happened in the main story timeline
So in their timeline there will be no Infinity War
In 2 other timelines Loki is running around still alive and all Asgardians are also alive
In those timelines Widow is still alive
There is no battle of NY etc etc etc
The rules of time travel in Marvel are that you can never change your own past, you only create a new timeline
Cable, Bishop, Rachel Summers, Nimrod, Kang etc all of these characters and stories establish that rule
strange only saw 1 way out of 14 million ways to beat thanos. he had to let it play out . even tony asked him if it was the 1 in 14 million strange told tony "i tell you it won't happen" knowing tony had to give his life in order for them to win.

in the books this is just how time travel works in Marvel stories
the next phaze of movies (phaze 4) will introduce interstellar cosmic characters that bend reality and can see alternate time lines and the stories will be even more fantasy / scifi based than we have seen so far
getting rights to other properties back now is just great timing

No one could put power thanos or outsmart him. Tony’s tech is the only thing that saved the day. Nano fucking tech man.
I really don't like captain Marvel, but......Once Thanos got the full gauntlet, you can't front. She took a headbutt, bent his hand with the gauntlet backwards, put him on his knee, made him have to dismantle the shit to get her up off him.

Uuuuhhh No. Strange teleported all of them straight from Titan. Look at the inside of the portal when Drax and co are coming out. I'll have to look again but I think Wong might have Wakanda in the background in his portal.
one thing I was confused about you remember in infinity war when Bucky was disappearing his gun stay behind but in Endgame when he came out that time portal he had the same gun?
When you come back from being dusted you come back to the last place you were at before being dusted. Simple for him to pick up his gun in wakanda when he comes back. Then he comes thru the portal with the others.
Technical guy: so a gun that hasn't been used or clean for 5 yrs, that's been through various elements such as rain, will be a perfectly usable firearm during battle yrs later?

When Thanos punched Capt Marvel, I yelled out thank you, get out of here. If I'm wrong we didn't see her again til the funeral. My problem with her is her cockiness. I understand Thor he has been fighting for 1,000 years. She walking in like well he hasn't met me yet. Shut up. He wiped out multiple planets.
Yea I liked that part when he punched captain marvel too lol. But she shouldn't have been able to hold up to the power of the gauntlet. But i don't think the glove was active when captain marvel was bending it back.
