Avengers: Endgame (2019) Discussion Thread (SPOILERS)

Overall I liked to movie, but they just had to sneak some homo shit in there... :smh:
gays were probably complaining "you got black and white men and women, asians, animals, trees, but not gays?" sad and pathetic. They satisfied that community (for now), by having one of the Russos in that role.

One of the few complaints that I have with Endgame is that Marvel Studios continues to shit on their TV Productions. That final battle, they threw in cameos from everyone in the MCU right up to Howard the friggin Duck. The only folks missing, were the heroes from their TV shows. They went out of their way to have this big girl power moment during the battle, you mean to tell me they couldn't let Quake from AoS get in on that? And what about the Defenders, they're just as recognizable as anyone in the MCU movies, how dope would it have been to see Iron Fist super sock one of Thanos' Lieutenants or better yet watch Luke Cage operate at full strength against a formidable enemy.

They say in the next phase, along with the Disney streaming service, Marvel Studios is gonna do a better job at integrating with the TV productions. I think that's just more disrespectful to the hard work and world building that occurred on all of the previous TV shows. Agent Carter was the only show to get some love in Endgame and it was probably the worst one.

As far as I know he still under universal, but they still got time to get him before production starts. Black panther 2 probably wont release till 2021 or 2022

Last i heard it was similar to the Hulk situation

No solo but they can use him as much as they want outside that.

I could be wrong

This is a fair point...

I'm sure Feige would say that Strange's line asking if that is every one is a cover for that.

i posted a video a while back explaining why there would be no crossover. The CEO of that division, for some reason, will not allow it. I'm gonna try to find the video, it was explained better in there.

edit: this thread explains it too.

How would she have known where in space they were??? None of the people left had any clue where Tony was. Even if they did know where he was, they had no clue whether he had been dusted or not.

Plus, the whole "where have you been" convo wouldn't make sense if she had already talked to them before bringing Stark back.

Even though space is vast, it still makes more sense for her to find them on her way to Earth.

It was the guardians ship so rocket probably had some type of way to track it or find an energy source. Hw probably gave the coordinates to captain marvel and she went and rescued them.

Just got back and I have to say I'm mildly disappointed. I thought it would be epic and to me it's just alright. To me it's the weakest of the Russo Marvel movies. I enjoyed Infinity War more than this.

We knew time travel would play a part but so much to where it started to get convoluted.
Tony Stark dying wasn't a surprise, figured it would be him or Cap.
Black Widow dying was a surprise.
Future Cap vs Cap from Avengers was dope.
Cap wielding Mjolnir, I geeked out on that part and I'm not even a comic book fan.
Cap coming back as an old man...didn't see that coming
Hulk stayed as Professor Hulk the whole movie, at some point I wanted to see Hulk vs Thanos 2.
Fat Thor...

Overall like I said it was alright. 7.5 out of 10 for me.

Man this movie was FUCKING AWESOME!! This shit felt like a live action Secret Wars especially with Hulk holding the building up on his back. Ive been waiting to see this movie all my life and Marvel came thru. I got a question tho, maybe i missed something, but when they went back in time and Fat Thor summoned his hammer wasn't he stealing it from Thor of that time? Does that create another timeline with a hammerless Thor?

Y'all really feeling this Namor dude? I never read up on him as a kid but he seems underwhelming from what I just peeped. He looks kinda cheesy on some Aquaman shit. What makes him a good follow up to Killmonger?

Namor is an asshole, this dude lusts after Sue Storm with no shame. He flooded Wakanda. He is/was a member of the Illuminati with BP. And he is more powerful than Killmonger. Believe me, this would be a great movie if them two went at it.

Namor would kick Kilmonger and Aquamans ass in a 2 on 1 fight dont sleep!
Ok cool. I know y'all know your shit when it comes to comics. So BP2 would be less socially conscious and more of a traditional superhero flick with Namar then?

That's possible but using the bifrost would have been faster than CM flying out there. Plus rocket (the sweet rabbit lol) already had a relationship with Thor, why would he ask a complete stranger to get his ship when he could ask his new friend?

The Bifrost only allows for travel to the nine realms. Ironman and Nebula are not on any of the nine realms hence the Bifrost won’t help. Captain Marvel can go anywhere she pleases.
