Thor was obviously depressed since this was hours after infinity war and Rhodey had a good point to say who the fuck is you. Like they had just met the broad.
yeah, that's what i think. it should have went like this: the movie starts with that end credit scene, she goes to look for Thanos, like she says she does, but instead she finds Tony and Nebuala, then brings them back. then goes and gets her hair did.
How would she have known where in space they were??? None of the people left had any clue where Tony was. Even if they did know where he was, they had no clue whether he had been dusted or not.
Plus, the whole "where have you been" convo wouldn't make sense if she had already talked to them before bringing Stark back.
Even though space is vast, it still makes more sense for her to find them on her way to Earth.
Banner knew they were in outta of space.
But he had no clue where in space they were. Didn't Tony say they were 1,000 light years out (or something similar)?
Plus, as was previously said, she would have taken time to get her hair done. Lol
she landed on earth and more than likely iron man wife notify the team that Tony was sending her message from outterspace and that he needed their help, they tell marvel to go get him, notice when marvel was bringing the ship back his wife and the team was there to greet him... To me that was the obvious chain of events
If he had the capability to send messages directly to her, he wouldn't have recorded a message in his helmet saying "if you find this recording" he would have said "when you find this recording".
Plus, they had quinjets capable of interstellar travel in addition to Thor having the bifrost. They didn't need Marvel's help to get him in time if they knew where he was.
He didn't know if she survived the snap.... He kinda even mentions that... So his saying if you find it kinda means if you survived the chaos

I still can't see how Thor couldn't have transported them back though.
They trying to push marvel, juss like they were pushing black panther in civil war... Strategic moments to push their characters so you can go watch and support their solo movies
No one on earth knew Team Ironman was on titan fighting Thanos.
When you are in space there is only one direction to earth, so it is obvious how Captain Marvel found them
Given how vast space is and how far away they were, it would take her forever to find them even assuming she initially headed in the right direction. Plus the ship they were on was different than the one Bruce saw him on, so her eyesight must good too to see Tony through the (albeit transparent) cockpit from far away.
Which begs the question how did CM know where to look if they didn't receive a signal with his location?
If you can answer that you can probably answer where she went after Thanos punched her in the face and we didn't see her again for the rest of the fight
