Interesting. Never heard the confederate flag origins linked to Natives in that region.
The five civilized tribes were slaveowner and they were just as cruel as whites except for the seminoles. A and some of the slave masters were half white, they were called civilized tribes because of slave ownership and the tribes took slaves hoping the white man would see them as not savages and take their land. That failed because mighty whitey took their land any and marched them on that trail of tears right onto the reservations.
