I never gave it any thought until one of my friends dad said integration was the worst thing that happened to black people.
I can only speak for myself we lived in all black neighborhoods. Our teachers, doctors nurses military personnel, funeral director, pastor, people who worked at the mills, people who worked at the base all lived in the same neighborhoods.
And they were safe neighborhoods, for the most part.
I don't have the answer, maybe integration was the way. I personally like living in black neighborhoods.
