Not bad for 2 dope boys in a Cadillac. I wonder if they will make just 1 more final album together with heavy features from the dungeon and attic crew. I would buy a physical copy as I have with all of their previous stuff. I love 3Stacks artwork on the discs
I used to have the same thought. But I learned to look at how successful their music is outside of the hiphop/black community.
For example, which do you think you would likely hear at a night club in say...Singapore? Rosa Parks (Aquemini) or Hey Ya! (Speakerboxxx/Love Below)?
Speakerboxxx/The Love Below had more international hits....The Way You Move, Roses, Hey Ya!

Same, but I think this album crossed over well with other folks who may not be die hard hip hop fans....
Even though when I saw them perform at the Governor's Ball some years ago in New York, those white kids were going hard when they did their set for Aquemini.
That double album scheme was genius, I knew this day would eventually come. The collection is truly epic and classic.
OUTKAST and the whole dungeon family truly deserves their flowers. Props to the ATL.

I actually met him two weeks ago.
He sat behind me on both legs of my flights from LAX to IAD and from IAD to LIS. I was talking to his wife while he was sleep with his mask on. They were going to Lisbon for a wedding. I didn't know who he was until he took his mask off and we dapped it up at the baggage claim.
X number of streams count as equivalent unit sales. There were a few bangers on there. Plus units sales count as 2 for this album....

well deserved that album was a classic to go along with all their other ones. remember being in my late teens buying then listening like wtf is this 3000? lol.
and helped put down south music on a global scale....

Yes sir! Aquemini very special to me because that joint came out my freshman year in college...
One of my biggest regrets was not going to the NC A&T homecoming concert in 1998 that had them, DMX, and Jay Z.....SMH
You know, its usually the commercial album that does big sales but the true fans always want that authentic, back when they was broke album to be the one.
As much as I actually like Em, I'm happy that the record is now back in our hands.
Now if we could just get that final push on MJ's Thriller so the Eagles can stop trying to claim they the best selling album of all-time.
And another thing, if y'all know the answer...why do I NEVER see Bob Marley's Legend on these lists. I don't know one person who doesn't have multiple copies of this album/CD/tape & it still sells (think it's like #1 in Billboard's Classic Albums or something like that).
