On Sunday, September 25, 2022, at approximately 5:15 pm, officers responded to a report of a Person Shot at 887 Ralph D Abernathy BLVD SW. Upon arrival, officers located a male victim who sustained a gunshot wound to his lower extremities. The victim was alert, conscious, and breathing and transported to the hospital for further evaluation. Preliminary investigation indicates an unknown sliver SUV pulled up next to him and began shooting. Investigators were notified and are working to determine the circumstances surrounding this incident. The investigation continues.
