WildCat is a four-legged robot being developed to run fast on all types of terrain. So far WildCat has run at about 19 mph on flat terrain using bounding and galloping gaits. The video shows WildCat's best performance so far. WildCat is being developed by Boston Dynamics with funding from DARPA's M3 program. For more information about WIldCat visit our website at www.BostonDynamics.com.

The problem will be power until
a) Someone devises a way to carry a lot of power in a small container
b) How recharge the power pack in a short time.

If you think about it, the above, especially (b), is the main impediment
to the proliferation of electric cars.

Did anyone notice how the humanoid robot is structured in the
inefficient and deficient proportions of a cac? ie, a large torso and
short limbs..

This research makes me uncomfortable...and very proud of engineers...
But are these robots autonomous or remote controlled?

Yes u are. The bots will get tired of your chatter in your senior years and push u down the stairs. :devil2::devil:

Brehs geeked about industries going away everyone is fair game Bgol brehs offline included.

It's time the technology for the Molotov cocktail bomb evolves into a cheap, easily created emp type throwable device. I know it will one day be able to be done with off the shelf materials and from the looks of where things are going it will be a necessity. Skin can't fight metal and expect to win. IJS.
