Batteries are still heavy right now. Its added weight placed in area of the device which doesn't benefit balance. That's just me talking and seeing what I've see on all prototypes and versions so far. I'm sure they'll fashion smaller, more powerful, and longer lasting power supplies eventually. But for now what I'm seeing, thats going to always be an issue. Tethered prototypes arent carrying as much weight or batteries. Power and hardware are simply sending both power and instructions thru the cabling and not mounted on the device at hand, thus a lighter working model that can more freely mimic the desired biped or quadraped emulated
man they are so far from what there showing us its crazy.i believe that they have real life humanoids living amongst us.these vids are just to make it seem like there just beginning but there 20 yrs pass this stuff there showing us.
heres the fucked up part...how often does life imitate art?? 100 years ago fiction writers were imagining alot of this stuff..the problem in MUCH of those stories advanced tech and AI usually doesn't end well for humans or human civilization. In 2017 there are MANY things that are commonplace science FACT today that was scienceFICTION just in some case just 25 years ago...well with MOST people on this boards lifetime...
Understand what that means...1990 you were looking at some scifi tech on tv or in a movie....and today its in your HIP POCKET. But in many of those stories that happen on Earth..advanced tech, AI, robots all end in some form of ruin for man.
Remember how the first terminator ended...with the hero riding off into the horizon (the future) with the storm clouds coming...
