Are any of the BGOL Fam Boat Owners?...

I'm really into fishing, so just need something simple to get around in, but my wife wants something more sporty to pull the kids on a tube or to cruise the lake in. So, I've been looking at these so-called "fish & ski" combination boats. They're not bad --- I am leaning towards Tahoe, this one: http://www.tahoesportboats.com/boat/index.cfm?boat=2903

Anyone have suggestions?
And, it doesn't have to be brand new, but I don't know shit about boats, so don't want to have to deal with potential USED boat problems....thanks

I actually would recommend outboard motors as they are much easier and cheaper to repair. The last boat I had was a 22 foot bayliner with a 225 and a 150 evinrude on it. Was great for skiing, fishing, back and forth between the close islands, out to the cays, etc. Was actually meant for lakes but did great in our local seas. If its your first boat, thats a good size, I wouldn't recommend anything larger than 28 feet which you don't even need if its just on a lake.
