Apple gave an iPhone 7 Plus to an NFL photographer

On Wednesday, Apple unveiled the brand new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, both of which feature an entirely new camera system. Now some of the first photos taken by the new iPhone 7 Plus camera are being unveiled exclusively on SI.com. On Sunday, Sports Illustrated photographer David E. Klutho took photos with the new iPhone 7 Plus camera at the Titans-Vikings game. The iPhone 7 Plus has a 12–megapixel telephoto camera that offers new zooming capabilities. Each new model also features a wider aperture and a lens that allows the camera to capture brighter and more vibrant colors in photos and videos. The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will be available in stores in 25 countries on Friday, Sept. 16.

Great pics! Maybe Apple is playing catch up to other phone manufacturers. I wouldn't know because I don't pay attention to what other manufacturers are doing. Next, we're talking about an American company versus the South Korean government. I would hope that a country would have the ability to beat a corporation.

Damn pictures with any smart phone should be a novelty surely they have advanced anybody taking serious pictures are not using a darn smart phone.. you need hi end cannon, nikon, Hasselblad,Leica,Mamiya...these are the rolls royce of DSLR....

I generally prefer Samsung cameras because they have brighter colors but this looks good to me.

It sucks this is the 7P and not the 7 but it is what it is.

Samsung should always have a better camera than Apple seeing as how they're a camera manufacture.

Nothing special about iPhone cameras anymore. Everyone has either caught up or surpassed them.

Way too over-processed either by the camera settings or the photo engine. As a photographer no cell phone makes me say wow but these are crap. As many have said even pictures from older Android phones look better. My Note 7 pictures make these look like a Toys R Us kiddy camera. I'll say it again: apple products are far behind in technology. What apple has is a stellar marketing department that has people standing in line to buy 3 year old tech. Can't hate on that.

Hmmm I actually have a note 7( currently on recall) and those pics posted here are actually very on par with if not better than in some aspects. For one, the OIS on the iPhone 7 is crazy if it was able to catch Demarco landing like that. I remember trying to test my son on a sugar rush and the note wasn't that great. Also, the colors on the iPhone seem pretty realistic just like the note. The fire and team colors show that. I truly find out for myself on Friday or Monday when I get it.
