I'm pretty sure the iPhone 8 will have type C. Their MacBooks already have the ports (since 2015). A lot of electronics that came out the 2nd half of this year have Type-C connection. Motherboards, Cases & some Raid Cards. It's much better than 3.1
I've owned two Macbook Pro's and loved both of them.
2010 gave me some issues that fell under the warranty and the 2015 one I got now is great.
Not at all my stance is about the election to not have any ports for devices that use USB3. As a macbook owner who plugs in portable HDDs, as well as DJ equipment that utilize USB ports, it being absent on the new macbook is a huge deal
No, I have never used a mac before but my sis in law switched last year and she loves it.
My Time Machine backup wouldn't even worth without a dongle, not to mention the cord to charge my beats.
If you switch odds are you wouldn't go back to a Windows machine.
I do to transfer music and videos mostly.

I got my mac to for development with Swift with Xcode, but deep down, I know I could have got a beast of a laptop for the money I spent on my macbook. If you like the Apple ecosystem, go for it. If you're going Windows, get a signature edition laptop. I love both my new Windows 10 machine and Macbook, just have to be more careful buying windows computers.

I have one. If I get this new model, coming in at 4 lbs and because I'm used to this screen size, it's pretty safe to say it would be the 15 inch again

Cool, I just bought the new 15 inch Macbook pro. I am going to Delaware for Thanksgiving, so I'm getting it delivered to my sister since it's tax free. I am also getting 5% back from discover card.

It's the extension part that's always come in the box. The regular, shorter power cable still comes included. Apple isn't that crazy

If anyone is in the market for a 2014 Macbook Air, hit me up. The wifi signal on it is shitty, but otherwise it's a great laptop.
The key is to fight the urge to upgrade hardware or software unless you absolutely have to. People are too quick to upgrade to the latest version of software or the latest iteration of hardware without realizing that it's role is to make the previous version obsolete and you to spend more money.

I Agree Apple is going crazy with it prices, Im still going to buy it because i have not upgraded in about 7 Years, But if you have the 2012 model i would not upgrade.

They have thunderbolt port adapters for USB devices.
Vaios are the only PCs that I could and would trust.
my late-2011 MBP is stilll going super strong...running PS, FC, etc like a champ! 2 years ago i maxed out the ram to 16gb, removed the superdrive and dropped in 2 1tb Samsung Evo SSD's....it was like getting a new computer!
