I think it's safe to say the republicans want the Biden to fail on the border so they can give Trump access to funds. Johnson knows this but can't do anything out of character because of the internal pressure he's feeling.

He's already said it on Fox that he consults with Trump on the Border issues. They need to go after him on that fact. Biden is the president, not Trump. Something for the good of the country should be common sense.

I don't think Pelosi faced this much internal issues other than the progressives making demands. This guy will never say yes to anything bi-partisan because the MAGA lawmakers are sitting on his neck. He's currently has the most abominable job in Congress.
