My early observation suggest postive earning reports, dividends, research results etc only creates a temporary surge in price(few minutes to a few hours(maybe).
On the other hand, insider trading getting the Kodak money is what really creates huges surges that last days to weeks.

Staying power is really built on a good company's fundamentals. You just can't escape that.

I get alot on various feeds/ chats like Stocktwits, yahoo and cnbc. I also get news drops on my trading platform (schwab). When you set up watchlists it feeds you info related to those. Since I am in NIO, Li and others popped up.

What did you buy on NIO? I have a PUT spread at $11. I’m feeling pretty good about that

Update: After this last halt, Im just spectating. Not going to lose any money on that.

Yo fam if you put in the order while at 1.59 but have not got a confirmation do you lock in that price for PRPO. I placed order on Robinhood it was 1.59 three minutes later it shot up to 5.92. Just curious how the investing game works. I was more of a long term investor but after following the thread. I'm learning a lot from you all. Also I bought JMAI at 5$ it's up over 111%. It's been a nice return. Any advice is appreciated. Love this thread

You aren't guaranteed an entry when stocks come back from a halt. It opened back up over $6, so your trade was never triggered.

Understand that I'm just giving my opinion why I wouldn't do it. Even though I did same thing you're thinking of doing in the past with OHI

Usually those options have less liquidity so you can't get in or out of positions that easily. At least that is what i encountered.
It also depends on the broker you have. I use TastyWorks but they charge 5$ for Option Exercise / Assignment !!
Those fees add up. So at this broker I only do options trades which are cash settled aka European style options like trading the SPX500 INDEX.

That's why I also have an Interactive Broker account, because they don't charge you for that.
They have other fees but I can live with it, since I have access to all almost all trading markets in the world.

I watched EDSA all premarket scared to jump in like a fool. So I waited until the bell and told myself it can only go one of two ways. So it started up at the bell by 2 bucks and I jumped in like a dummy on my E*TRADE but I like watching the ticker on Webull disregarding the wait 10 minutes for the market to settle rule. Went to hit sell and that motherfucker halted and by the time I got out I was 300 down but said fuck it I wasn’t holding a bag. Fast forward and TAOP started running and I had 900 unsettled cash in my E*TRADE left. I bought in at 5.91 and it went up to 8 and I tried to sell not being greedy and E*TRADE kept giving me an alert that no online orders could be processed on this security and to call the 1-800 number. I’m constantly trying to hit sell and keep getting the same message while on hold at E*TRADE mad as fuck in the bathroom at work like lawd I’m finna be stuck with a bag. Then I keep looking on hold on speaker and that motherfucker just kept going up so I hang up the phone and just watched. It got up to 12 and I hit sell again and it went through! Made what I lost back and then a plus lol. Somebody was looking out for me today. Went back in on TAOP on my Webull when I saw it was still running and made another quick 800. I’m good with that. I’ve learned not to be greedy. It’s a nice supplement for me lol.

Ahh it will make you sweat a bit could fly pass 13 or 14 which is my hope. Either way I think it will stay above $12. If you get solid profit take it! It hit $13 yesterday for a brief second. Mine is a Bull Put spread at $11 so we on the same side. I did a Call spread by accident and had to buy myself back out.

i've had a 30k+ day so far. PRPO adding to it man. i put the calls out there. up to each individual whether or not they wanna get in.
i can do everything except take the money out your wallet for you.
