Yep! I posted the PDT rule to a couple of trading vets on the board. Bottomline, unless you have an account with a minmum of $25,000 you can't do more than 3 full trades(buy/sell) within a 5 day period.

The only way i know to by-pass that is to open with a broker overseas...
or have multiple brokers so you can have 3 per broker. Not unlimited but adds to the week

Gotdamn...that’s just doing too much! Lol
No it’s not when you are making good money. I have a full time job but I go between E*TRADE and Webull and both are cash accounts. I only trade in settled cash but I like to watch my trades I don’t do stop losses so I only make 4 or 5 trades a week. So between the 2 I’m eating pretty good. The more money you put into a trade the more money you make.

Thats good you’re able to balance the two accounts like that. The no commission fees has helped a lot of traders. Especially day traders do their thing. The more money you put in the more money you “can” make. Trading for “profits” is gambling...trading to manage “risk” is investing. Ultimately, if you can manage losses and keep them to a minimum then it’s not that bad.

I’m assuming you’re a swing trader because I don’t know how you can have a fulltime job and be a day trader. You gotta watch the action like a hawk...shits way too volatile.

I have long term holds, I swing some as well. But for the most part my day trades I do before 9. I’m up at 4am on Webull and out right after open with my profits. I’m not greedy. I could have made a killing on Kodak but I walked away with about 2 stacks and I’m ok with that.

Kodak was already running. Day traders were already cashing in. When trump announced it, it was after hours... that when I jumped in again.

Kodak was running pre market yesterday off of the news of the 750 million dollar loan. I bought at 7 and sold at 10 at the opening bell

Shit got crazy AH when Trump mentioned it.
Wow. Damn near a BILLION dollar loan.

I would of never thought Kodak would of been brought back to life and their right about that inside trading shit because they announced that shit early.....can't win em all and we shall see what happens in the future.Corruption....again
alot of pharma companies do the same thing. they'll make announcements about their progress in a covid vaccine or some shit.....and the next day, their stock would get a boost. and of course when the president does it, u know its bound to happen.
the company that makes hydroxychloroquin had their stock get a boost when Trump kept touting it a few months ago.

They just gave Fujifilm a huge sum of money just like Kodak but it’s not as highly publicized yet for some reason. I have it on my watch list for now.

It's known. He was at the their place in North Carolina earlier this week.

I've never done pre-market buying. Honestly, I didn't even know that's available to the public.
Never used Webull either...

So much to learn...

2Q GDP report is dropping tomorrow at 8am along with initial jobless claims. GDP report should be terrible. Might be an ugly day at the market so keep that in mind. Plus big tech (Amazon, Apple, Facebook, etc.) don’t report earnings until after market close. Could be a decent buying day or a day to sit on sidelines if you’re bullish.

Fam,

What screener app are ya'll using?
I was recently introduced to Trade Ideas Pro.
But that screener is asking for $7.90 PER DAY for their live app.

I'm wondering if those golf carts they call electric vehicles have a long term market in the states?
Watch out for LI as well. Another Chinese EV who’s IPO is today trying to come in between $8-$10. They should show up around mid day. Will be interesting to see how it fairs. Feels like there are a ton of EV companies coming out the back.

Absolutely, But Tesla kinda has that market on lock at the moment. Personally, I wouldn't want a golf car looking EV. I want something that looks like a grown car and not a kitty-mobile.

But there maybe a market for it...We'll see!

Tesla's are expensive tho. I can see Kandi as the "kia" of electric cars. If they play their cards right.
