I had a $5000 jump in my stocks two days ago on my GE stocks but a day later, I was back to where I was. I wondered what happened.

I made a 80% gain from my basis cost and sold off around January.

Sold at a small profit way back in May for a swing trade. I've liked this stock all along and wanted back in and felt DKNG was out of reach. Ownership ties had promise. Tho I opt to use the money to get back in NIO at $40 and am up. But I wanted that type of stock in my portfolio.
I wouldn't sweat it, sounds like you put that capital to work in another good play at least.
I got out of DKNG a few months back too, put those funds into NVDA & SOFI. So I feel you ... I like the stock, esp in what seems like a growing industry, but I like my other plays just a liiiiiitle bit more rn.
Def keeping it on my watchlist to re-enter long term.
The Travelling Trader dude on YouTube likes them alot too. Thinks the infrastructure bill is gonna be a catalyst for them eventually...
