Anyone investing heavily this year??

How much money did you lose/gain this past week?

I’ve been trading ETFs of late like $SPY, $QQQ, etc and my success rate has shot up! It allows me to focus on overall market trends instead of individual stock particulars(Stock manipulation, high short percentage, merger news etc).

Highly recommended if you’ve never traded etfs before. The cost and payout potential for options is outstanding.

In many ways it's as simple as what did futures do over night? Green you say? Then theres a high degree of probability that $SPY etc is moving up a few points. Futures was Red? High probability that $SPY etc is going to be bearish.

There are more specifics to be aware of but that's the general gist.

In and out within a matter of mins to 1-2 hours. I bullshit you not i've made more $$$ this past week than at anytime in my trading career. It certainly helps that the market was very bullish overall too.

HUGE: Take a look at Volume Profile trading too!

That shit is hard go see an entry point on, not to mention understanding the ins and outs of it in order to competently make moves. I need a remedial break-down. Where to start, how to conduct research, and how to chart trends and progress...

General Catalyst's third SPAC aims to help Black founders

General Catalystis forming its third SPAC, this time with a twist: The venture capital firm's blank-check company is launching with a stated intention of supporting founders from underserved ethnic groups.

  • Catalyst Partners Acquisition Corp. filed for a $400 million IPO that will target business software companies.
  • After initially staying away from SPACs, VCs are stepping up their sponsorships, with General Catalyst emerging as one of the industry's more ardent players in the frenzy.
  • Last year the Boston-area firm formed a healthcare-focused SPAC that raised $525 million in an IPO. And just days ago, General Catalyst joined forces with Arch Venture Partners to launch a $500 million IPO for Revolution Healthcare Acquisition Corp., a digital health-focused blank-check company.
  • In an SEC filing, Catalyst Partners said an unspecified cut of the latest SPAC's profits will fund "economic empowerment and inclusion" initiatives through a charitable foundation formed by General Catalyst.
  • Several Black business luminaries are on the SPAC's team, including Kenneth Frazier, Merck CEO; James Cash, former senior associate dean of the Harvard Business School, Corey Thomas, CEO of cybersecurity specialist Rapid7; and Ken Chenault, currently General Catalyst's chairman and formerly CEO of American Express.

im still in ENTX from yesterday at $4. just got in GNUS at $2.10

You have a niche for finding those things even in the most bearish market. The OP sounds new to trading and may not be as skilled as you if he's asking what and where are the runners.

More likely lose $$$ trying to "find something" as opposed to chilling rest of the day and catch post-stimulus checks market next week.

That's just my opinion.

Who caught that EBON jump:pain::pain:, gotdamn missed it. How do traders find stocks that jump 30-40% over the 200 day moving average like that out of nowhere?

I dont know man, there seem to be a big marketing push for NFT's this week.

If you are buying the rights for music, movies, or games through NFT I can understand.

But why would anyone pay $1,000 for a gif of this weak ass Jaylen Brown dunk?

Even after you buy this NFT the NBA still own the the video footage and reproduction rights

Thats what me and my guys was talking about. Like what the fuck you gon do with it? You gon have a NFT viewing party? I see other applications but we think the NBA just trying to create that buzz. Shit is stupid to me from the highlight perspective, but whatever! Guess its like collecting baseball cards.

If they already running by the time you find them, its probably too late to get in. Esp on the penny stocks.

Good insight, I think that you're right. I appreciate it's an odd question, but how does one find out about runners that still have room/legs.

I missed the alpp & ambl boat, both had about 1000% growth in 3 months. Now dead.

Volume. If a stock gains on no volume hold on for the ride. If the stock has a billion moves but doesn’t move it’s all fake.
