What's the difference? I thought HDMI's are all just marked up items, if it gets a signal you are only paying for the physical cable aka brand names?
I don't talk to you.... I talk at you...... you're not worthy of conversationBro stop talking to
Me
Thanks. I got this TV is this shit good enough for the new consoles? The 18Gbps with HDMI 2.0 isn't enough bandwidth to do 4k at 120hz with 12bit color depth and 4:4:4 chroma all with lossless audio via eARC.
If you have a 4k TV that maxes out at 60hz and does not support eARC then a regular HDMI cable will be fine.
However if you plan on gaming at 4k 120fps with HDR and/or plan on sending Dolby True HD or DTS HD Master Audio to your A/V receiver from your TV, you'll need a HDMI cable that's rated for 48Gbps.

And if so I still need that new HDMI too right?
Whatever you do get an updated HDMI cable. I bought me the Q90T and couldn't hear shyt with the HDMI cables for my Sound system until I got ....................... HDMI Cable
Not arguably...best overall TVs for gaming are definitely the LG OLEDs when you factor in picture quality and the fact that all 4 HDMI ports are 2.1...just dont fall asleep with that shit on to avoid potential burn inYour existing HDMI cables should work unless they are really old, but the consoles should include a reverse compatible cable in the box.
If you're happy with the image quality the TV is currently giving you, then you'll be happy with how it handles the consoles. Just make sure that you set it to game mode as that will have a huge effect on input lag.

Samsung RU7100 Review (UN43RU7100FXZA, UN50RU7100FXZA, UN55RU7100FXZA, UN58RU7100FXZA, UN65RU7100FXZA, UN75RU7100FXZA)
The Samsung RU7100 is a good 4k LED TV that has decent overall picture quality. It can deliver deep blacks, thanks to the high native contrast ratio, and it's go...www.rtings.com
The best TVs for gaming (arguably) are the C9 and CX from LG. They aren't cheap, but the image quality and features are hard to beat.
People that don't own LG oled TV alway say this dumb shitNot arguably...best overall TVs for gaming are definitely the LG OLEDs when you factor in picture quality and the fact that all 4 HDMI ports are 2.1...just dont fall asleep with that shit on to avoid potential burn in
Is that your way of saying burn in is not a possibility? I would advise anybody with any OLED to keep burn in in the back of their minds and to take simple precautions while enjoying their setPeople that don't own LG oled TV alway say this dumb shit

Nice..I know they have a lot of anti burn in features...thats a good one...Samsung is cool but they got a lot of marketing gimmicks man...somebody has to really research a Samsung before they buy them because everything changes from year to year as far as their model placement....Q70 goes from ehhh to great last year back to ehhh this year...their best stuff is expensive and comparable in price to OLED....if you are not in a super bright room like you mentioned, its no contest....easy win for OLEDSamsung's QLEDs are better for super bright rooms since they can get brighter, plus no burn in worries as you mentioned. But yeah, LG is hard to beat right now.
I have the CX, it'll heavy dim the screen when a game has been idle for ~10 minutes to try to prevent burn in. I really like that. One thing that could be an issue for people is it doesn't decode DTS audio, so if someone wants to use their console as a 4k bluray player they'll need a A/V receiver that supports HDMI 2.1 to get audio and high frame rates.
Thanks, that means a lot coming from you. Warms my heart.
So your TV doesn’t need a HDMI 2.1 slot???When you buy a PS5 or Series X they both come with a 2.1 HDMI cable. So you're fine unless you need extra cables or longer ones. But when you do need more HDMI cables its better to future proof yourself by getting the latest instead of just getting what's cheap or rated at a lower speed.

What do you think about the new Vizio OLED? 1500 for a 65 inch is market changing
Cheapening out on parts, outdated smart system, selling the shit out of personal data....does make you wonder how cheap those cheap parts are since they are all using the standard LG panelI need to read up on the Vizio. I want to know what they're doing to get the price so low. $900 for a 55" OLED is crazy.
I think this is a Samsung thing because my Older Plasma LG TV played everything samsung would not lg DVD player plays everything samsung Dvd player started seeing fbi signs saying this is copyrightedBecause of what I already said.
In the case of the ads you posted, obviously one is bigger. Also, the 8000 series is Samsung's top of the line or close.
For instance, I have an 8000 series and I regularly play content from a USB without any problems. My sister and bil went cheap against my advice and now, when they want extracurricular content, I can find and d/l no problem. Stick it on a portable HD easy. Does their TV play it? Nope. 3 out of 4 extensions, or more accurately shells, aren't decoded by their TV because they decided to save a few bucks. Now we're talking about a dozen movies and even more series, some of which have 10, 15, 20 seasons. All that content and they're ass out because I ain't converting all that shit.
Now, maybe this scenario doesn't apply to you but I'd still urge the 8000 series or higher.
And I damn sure wouldn't buy it from Wally's world.
I have a 5TB External hard drive with over 2000 movies and TV shows on it. I wouldn't be actually contemplating buying a new TV but the 75" I got a few years ago has burned in images in it (Samsung UN75MU9000) and NOW Samsung increased their warranty from 1 to 3 yearsBecause of what I already said.
