I understand where you're coming from, and I agree with you in terms of what we see on the board, I watch TV shows & movies and take them for what they are, escapist fare, IF coonish behavior is dictated for a certain scene AND it makes it funny, then so be it, if coonish behavior is added just for the sake of adding it, fuck it, and that's in ANY context!

Also check out the mental breakdown between males and females... When Phil was on top, what he did was rate the women from the most attractive and most fuckable to the least, if the top chick didn't want him, he had no problems lowering his standards for the next..
When it was just Phil and Todd the the women scaled their system based on virtue and kindness and who they thought was the better guy.
But when a guy, who they really wanted to fuck, came along all that good guy shit flew out the window, and unlike Phil, these chick are not willing to settle for 2nd best, they rather be the other chick to a hot guy than fuck around with a guy who is less than best, in their eyes..

I was telling a friend that even if Boris came in as a true asshole who massacred an entire town, he would STILL be @ the top guy!!!

at first i thought it was going to be a comedy version of this

and that he was going to be the last man on a Earth with nothing but women..which probably would be a nightmare in itself

Y The Last Man was my original hope/expectation for the show. While I still like the show I'm glad its not that, Y The Last Man can be done so much better with a more serious tone.
